Thanks for this video. This is the same symptoms we are seeing.... I went ahead, and cleaned the indicated grounding cluster, but the problem persisted. I ended up drilling a hole in the frame right by the offending lamp, and ran a dedicated ground to that bulb. That finally fixed it..... but the problem was definitely the ground.
I want to thank you so much I have a 2008 Jeep compass that solved my right fog light and my brake light on. They have so many issues with wiring. 👍.. I live in Southwest Ohio the winters can be pretty bad. They use a lot of salt on the roads.

Absolutely correct. Solved brake light solid on, and multiple DTCs, and 4 sensor ground.

This is Buddy not Nancy. At time 2:10, the ground wires you pointed to are for the ground. HOWEVER the main ground cable connects down near the starter motor. Ground cables are very important to the vehicles electrical system. P.S. Keeping these connections clean is very important, as are the battery terminals.
Yep this is a problem with the jeep platform i did practically all grounds on my patriot ,the car has straightened out now.

I tried this trick but the left light (low beam) is still low and no high beam. I ran the wire from the left (wht/blu) to the right (wht/?) Can anyone help?

Im live in upstate ny to can u tell me what size ring terminals or gauge u used on there? I have the same problem my wires ant even touching the eye.
The wire gauge of the eyelet depends on how many wires you plan to connect to it...are you going to try connecting all 8 to a single eyelet like the factory or split them up as I had to do? Best option is to buy an inexpensive connector assortment kit off of Amazon and use whichever connectors meet your needs. I'd suggest the connectors that have heatshrink tubing on them to seal the connection after crimping (they're sometimes referred to as marine-grade connectors)...that's what I use

This is B.S. a bad or no ground will NOT turn on brake light period! The ground is only applied to sensor wire on master cylinder when fluid is way low! If fluid is ok the ground wire is not even applied! All these sites saying light on is bad ground is total B.S. you can unplug the sensor and light will still be on so stop with the bad ground crap. Yes there is bad grounds causing all sorts of issues, but a bad or no ground will not make brake light come on, only low fluid will.
Then how did it fix all of these ppls problem? Riddle me that
