  • Burmese pythons are the one species many people think of when they hear the term "invasive species". I had the chance to travel to South Florida and to hunt these snakes to help protect the Everglades ecosystem.
Join me as I talk with local experts then visit a local brewery called Invasive Species Brewing. This was a trip of a life time for me and I'm glad to share this adventure with you all

Now that Hurricane Ian has passed you can bet the problem just got worse. Not just snakes it's gators and lizards on the move.

@@rufusdusol9453 well, I have some good news for thought you should know about bobcats have developed a taste for python eggs a cottonmouth within eating a young python, an alligator was seen eating a python as well, and with a lot of human hunters ridding Florida of these serpents got a little easier you see the more adult hunters python hunters kill the adults the more the bobcats can eat python eggs so that fewer and fewer would hatch and the ones that did the cotton mouths could eat the young pythons so without the parents around the eggs would never hatch and well I thought maybe these factors could actually help with the python population if the human hunters shot, Burmese pythons and any other kind of pythons, you could tear off chunks of meat, feed them to the alligators, and the bobcats can eat the eggs and the cotton mouths could eat the young that would otherwise grow up to be adults does that make sense?
