It’s hard to talk to other techs about soft versus hard gel. When people talk about builder gel they think hard gel. I don’t need to resort to hard gel almost at all.

For my students, I always recommend hard gel only for long lengths or extreme shapes. Other than that, you can do it all with soft gel systems :)
