I know it’s extra but to save my videos from being lost forever I upload to google photos and from there download them to my phone to get an uncompressed image. I LOVE IT
At 4:22 you can briefly witness something zip by the upper left portion of the screen within the water, then is immediately followed by another object, which seems to sharply change direction before following the initial one. Very peculiar. I tend to doubt any fish can maneuver that quickly. The objects span the course of the entire shot in less than a few frames.
@@JordanHetrick I'm pretty sure that's a very safe and politically correct explanation - however it's completely off base. Bubbles don't move that fast through the water horizontally. Namely because they are less dense than the water around them they tend to float upwards, not travel horizontally at over a hundred miles an hour lol..

I cant airdrop videos from iPhone 13 max pro to iPhone 6. Using google drive I can get the video to an iPhone 6 user who can view the video hi quality with google drive app BUT he can’t download the video to his phone. If I send a video that was made with my iPhone X, it works! So it seems there is a format issue with iPhone 13 at least and working on an iPhone 6. I was hoping google drive would do some minuscule format adjustment to the iPhone 13 video to make it compatible when downloaded. No luck there! I really hate exploring 3rd party apps. I need a format converter to make iPhone 13 videos compatible with minimum distortion to iPhone 6. Do you know of any? What’sapp really kills the quality even if you say send in highest quality.

I recently got a Hero10 and was trying to navigate how to share etc. I noticed right in the app there is a share link button and it looks to send in the same resolution as shot in. I did a couple of test emails to myself. Is this a new feature or is it not the same as what you're doing in this video? It seems like it would cut out a ton of steps.
Hi Carl, Yes, you can share directly from the app, but if you share the video as a text message, your phone will compress larger videos. The best way to make sure the files are shared at the quality you see on your phone is to share a link. It does take a few more steps unfortunately.
Hmmm... in the Quick app it say's the video that you watch in Quick app is a low resolution video. So how would an edit to that video become a high-res after editing in the Quick app???? If you edit in low res it stays low res. If you then upload your edit to GoPro Cloud service it would still be low res when you make the link. Doesn't make sense it would magically become hi-res. Thanks for taking the time to create this tutorial but it just doesn't make sense as to the way the app works.

I’m wondering whether instead of using the “copy link” feature in my Google Drive to transfer my short (15-30 seconds) videos with high quality in text messages, that I can use the “copy” video feature to copy the actual video (because they’re so short) and paste them from Google Drive into a text message, and get the same high quality result? (I know that was a long run-on sentence). Thanks for your help!
I don't get why the size of videos shared by GoPro share link are smaller than in the cloud. Even though I share them with full resolution, can anyone help please?

Hi Selina, Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do on your end to fix the video. You have to have good quality to start with. If you can have the person who sent it resend it using a drive like I showed here, then you can start with a better copy.
Hi Ian, The quality of your exported video is all that matters as far as uploading, so you need to make sure that the videos you export are saved using the best export settings. RUclips reads your video file size (4k, 1080p, etc.) automatically. What video editor are you using?
I just want to see if I understand what you're saying-- You're telling me to use the same technology that's existed for like 10 or 15 years now? Like upload it to any place on the internet anywhere and then share a link with someone? This is the revolutionary idea you're sharing?
