I thought that what the narrator quoted the boy at the end as saying was extremely interesting, that he'd specifially chosen his mother who'd been his mother in the previous incarnation, that souls had a choice whether or not to reincarnate, and that everyone had an Earthly task to fulfill which might be entrusted to a group of people if it concerned an entire society, not just one's personal goals. I'd never heard anyone say that last part before, about a group of people entrusted with a single task.

Only a few years ago I thought those stories are BS, but then I learnt this phenomena has even been studied with thousands of cases. Together with NDEs and DMT experiences I now think there is much more to this World than our conscious can (normally) perceive.

There is a great story of a young boy, 9/11 and the reincarnation of a New York City fire lieutenant who perished in North Tower. The full story as told by the boy's mother on (and off) a popular Reincarnation Forum starting in 2007 up to the present day. The books full title, Fire in the Soul: Reincarnation from Antietam to Ground Zero. The author is a retired Fire Chief.

I am not sure if I believe in reincarnation but I remember when I was five or six years old I always had the feeling that lots of people were watching me and I must react to that and greet them. Today I hate to be the centre of attention I will for instance keep quiet if it is my birthday so that people won't comment on it.

Why are most reincarnated souls mind wiped, and don't remember their previous lives?
If we're here to learn life's lessons, wouldn't it be helpful to remember our past lives, the mistakes we made, and then have the knowledge to grow?

      I’ve only truly remembered who
I was previously since I turned 18. Young adulthood, in childhood a lot of strange things happened to me, but memories of a past existence have stayed with me all my life now and I’m almost middle aged.
      Meditation helped me.

Not if the "test" is taken after we die, maybe life on earth is like a study session for each chapter and when we die, we have an overview of what we've learned. Idk if that's how it is or if some people even believe that, just a thought after reading your comment.

Probably happened to me. I do remember that I kept telling my mother I’d had a recurring dream about falling from a great height , and it scared me and she just said ‘it’s just a dream , it’s nothing to worry about’ .. bless her she was trying to protect me but I wish she’d have explored this a lot more. I remember what my previous life was, vaguely, a lady who committed suicide by falling- she was in her fifties. I have a dreaded fear of reaching middle age . Especially 50s. It’s more than just fear of aging. It’s an extremely strong feeling.

I had nightmares of flying high at 3-4 y of age, then diving in direction to the ground then waking up feeling horror...Often I woke up in Sweden and walked afraid in total darkness to my parents bedroom... Always fearful of heights, but then I was thirty tested a glideplane, had no problem cotrolling it in the air, my instructor was gobsmacked.. I remembered a small two-storey house in prussian green with jugend glas windows. When I asked my parents about the green house they just stared at me: "We don´t know anybody with a green house..!" Maybe like a watchmans place at the railroad.. I was always pro-german at 5-7, hated war-comics where germans were portrayed as stupid and brutal..I think that I was a WWII-pilot... I probably lived in Dalarna as a woman until old age in the 19th c. A medium told me that... And might explain why I always been soft for folklore from Dalarna, ever since my childhood...#brandenburg #dalarna

Two seconds short of eight minutes, not, "just over 7 minutes". A lot can be told in just under eight minutes! (Do you get Ague, an illness where you shiver such as malaria, if a story doesn't have enough time? How odd. ;) )
