They only remember when there is trauma and they pass suddenly, most never remember, it goes against the laws of nature to fully recall a past life, the only thing remembered is the instincts from that life, the skills, the interests, the feelings, fears, but never actual memories nor self conscienciousness.
When my second son was four he said to me 'You're the best mom I ever had'. I blinked a few seconds and stated 'I'm the only mom you ever had.' He laughed and said 'No you're not, but you're the best one.' At the time I shrugged it off as nothing but who knows?

When my daughter was 4 years old, she told me she was a lady living in a big house with a rose garden. She drunk tea from a cup with roses painted and was an artist. I asked her if she remembered anything else. ‘Yes’ she replied, ‘I walked to market in the town with my friend Merika. We walked through the lanes. We bought bread, cheese, wine and fish. We would sit in the garden and I would paint roses’. She only mentioned her memories a couple of times after that. However, she grew up to be a botanical artist. One of her earliest exhibitions was called ‘A walk with roses.’ Just roses. She is now a popular local artist by painting the gardens of local people. Sadly she remembers nothing of those memories now.
Those memories of past do demish from memory between the ages of 7 to 28yrs odd years of age. I too used to have memories of my past life and had even visited a region when with friends and I recognised the town and had told our guide of what used to be where. The guide had said they'd check with their colleague to either dispute or agree with what I had said (aged 20). Well shortly after his colleague came to me and said all i had pointed out were correct as of the late 1800s. Not long after then my memories of past diminished after a handful years to pass.
When I was 25 I went to a psychic for the first time. She told me that I had three children , two in the physical & one in the spiritual. I looked at her confused because I had two children ,not 3 . it's comforting to know that the Almighty gives those who pass before their time a 2nd chance. but coming back to this earthly existence sets them back one step from the ultimate goal. i am healthy and hale, but if i were to pass before my time, i would just continue to the next existence, i would not come back to this one.

My friend told me a story of how her family knew another family that had three daughters. One of them got very sick and knew she was going to die. She gave her sisters a few pieces of jewelry and said to them, "Hold on to these for me, will you?" She passed away. About eleven years goes by. The sisters are driving along in their car with one of their little granddaughters. The granddaughter says in a matter of fact way, "Do you guys still have the jewelry I asked you to keep for me." We go to Heaven or hell when we die. No reincarnation. Life does not just end. We have to make our choice where we go now while we are still alive. But, because of satan conning Adam out of the authority over the earth that God had given Adam, satan has that authority over the earth, and we have to make our choice to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, or refuse God and be under satan's authority and go to hell with him. This is all very real. There is only one way to Heaven, and Jesus paid the price for us on the cross so we can go to Heaven. When my son was 3 we were driving over a bridge when he said, "I died here when I was grandpa's age" He never told me anything else. (my son is 20 now)
I believe you , because I can remember when I was a baby, I could hear music, and understand language, I could see people walking past me but I couldn't move or talk, I felt paralyzed. I don't think I'm supposed to remember that and it sounds crazy but everyone I say something about it to give me funny looks so I just don't bring it up anymore.😣

Well said.. In India we hindus also believe in reincarnation. And in fact i always think its quite a liberating concept. It assures you that your soul will keep on evolving in each of your births on this planet. Whatever good or bad things that you learn or do will either help or hinder your progress as a soul. This feeling hence make us even more sensitive and responsible about the choices that we make in life.

An old Roman emperor wanted to compile all Christian teachings, but he didn't like the ones about reincarnation, because when people believe they never die, they can be fearless. He wanted to keep his subjects in order, so he had all of those teachings burnt. So, you'll find that a lot of Christians don't believe in reincarnation, even though it's pretty normal in most other religious cultures.
I loved these stories. I don't look at reincarnation as a punishment, but as a lesson in goodness. With each life we learn something new until our soul is pure and free.
@@kathykyle9319 When a person does not finish his/her destined time on earth then that soul comes in some other body, reincarnated. Destined time can be cut short by untimely death. We average people don't know that but there certainly are people who come back in a different home sometimes in the same area.

My daughter at 3 told me I was the mum last time you are the mum this time.....she’s 14 now and acts like my mother half the time....I still remember her saying that to this day.

I once met a man named Robert who could look at you and "see" your past lives in your aura. Him and his sister both had the same gift from a young age but she was afraid of it whereas he turned it into something helpful for others. You would never know Robert had this gift, as he was a 'normal-looking' Canadian man driving a black pick-up truck (not a Swami or Guru) . When I met this man, he knew nothing about me. He didn't know that I had a dream once that was so real and my name was Ezra (I am a woman), and I had a scroll in my hands and was wearing sandals and walking in sand near a well. The dream was so real that after I woke up I even read the whole book of Ezra in the Bible, thinking maybe there was a message for me, but I didn't find anything. One of the past lifetimes this man told me about was that I was a teacher in Palestine, an Essen, and he specifically gave me the name Ezra!!! This man also told me that I was a follower of Saint Patrick in Ireland. When I was visiting in Ireland for the first time in this lifetime I had an out of body experience and felt such a connection to Ireland like I had been there before (I am Canadian). He said that I kept track of Saint Patrick and would light a fire in my village to tell everyone when Saint Patrick was coming. He said Saint Patrick gave me a small gift like a stone and I treasured it. Another thing he told me was that in a past life I was a healer and I was sad because there were only 2 people who I could not seem to help, my mother (psychosomatic illnesses) and my sister (depressed and committed suicide at age 28). In this lifetime, two people who frustrated me were my mother and my sister and with patience and kindness, my relationships worked out better! Robert also showed me on a map where I was a veterinarian (a man) and would travel in a boat with my son to heal animals (horses, cows) with runes and herbs. It's strange because in this lifetime I've had lots of pets and once my vet told me "you missed your calling" because I usually told the vet what was wrong with my pets and how to heal them. There were other things Robert told me about that were a definite connection to me now. Sadly, I lost touch with him before I had a chance to see him again. But I totally believe he could "see" my past lives in my aura and he helped me so much by confirming things that I already knew. For instance, when I travelled along the Mediterranean Sea coast, I told my friend, "I've been here before", and, sure enough, that's where I was travelling in a boat to heal animals in the Islands around Portugal. ICE 7 - But those aren't necessarily the only two options. Who says if we aren't reincarnated then we will spend eternity in darkness? What if there are other dimensions out there to explore? I personally don't find reincarnation scary, but the thought of coming back to earth over and over again is beyond exhausting. I would want my energy/consciousness to experience something different.

My son was reincarnated. He has always had a very morbid fear of water since forever literally! He would become extremely distraught over baths as an infant and would scream and cry at the mandatory daycare swim lessons. When he was around 3 or 4 we were driving by a lake called Winona Lake. Suddenly he points across the lake to what used to be a resort in the 1800s. Something we never told him about so he shouldn't have known it was there! He blurts out, "That place is where I died! I drowned just off the beach over there!" I was shocked speechless! Now, something else we never told our son is that, during the 1800s there was a road from the resort up to Sky Pond. That road no longer exists. It is now a mere trail in the woods. I've never even brought him down that trail ever!! A few months pass and we take a trip to Sky Pond via the road that accesses it from Oxbow Rd. We get to the pond and our son says, "Wow! That is where I used to live! There was a house there on the other side of the pond and I used to go down to the lake from here!" In shock I literally had no words for how he could know that Winona Lake and Sky Pond connected via that old road in the 1800s. I knew nothing of a house across from Sky Pond so I asked my mom about it later. Mom literally turned white as a ghost! I asked what was wrong and she said that her father, my grandfather, who was born in 1895 used to tell of a house that was on the pond directly across from the main road!!!!!!!!!! By the time mom was born in 1947 it was no longer there!! So she herself had never even seen the house! To this day my son, Lee, will not go anywhere near water or boats and literally melts down when he has to go on a boat! He is now 12! And he refuses to swim at all! He wont even take baths, only showers! His fear is that great! All the evidence proves he is telling the truth but I'm not sure how to find out his name from his previous life as there was a fire at the New Hampton town hall way back when and all property records were destroyed in the fire so there will be no records of who owned the property back when Lee died in his previous life. Some people say this isn't real because it doesn't talk about it in the Bible. I'm a devout Christian and I believe in reincarnation! There are a lot of things that are not talked about in the Bible. God has his mysteries that he doesn't share. I accept that and I accept that my son's past life death causes his fear of water so we don't push him to swim etc. God bless.

I also have a fear of water, but not so severe I guess, because I've taken swimming lessons before (I'm just not good at it). I do have a lot of dreams about deep waters, and almost drowning or something... No idea if it's to do with incarnations, but it's interesting from a psychological aspect, for sure!
My wifes brother passed away at the age of 20 about a year before I met her. Years later we had a son and went to visit my mother in law who lived a few hours away. My son was just old enough to talk and never knew or heard any stories about his uncle who had passed. While visiting, my son walked up to my wifes mother and said to her "Remember when you were my mommy"? Needless to say we were all pretty freaked out but at the same time it was oddly comforting.
I had memories, forget some of them...I would ask Mom why we were at certain places when we were very young...and who the people were ...also mentioned to my sister. They had no recollection and I was accused of making up stories for attention. There are times I'll meet someone who are very familiar and there's an automatic strong hostility between us, the person also recognizes it...and I end up walking away drained and confused as I'm sure the person was. It doesn't happen very often anymore...strange memories and encounters have quieted down. I still have other abilities but unrelated to this story. I don't know if my life is one that is still attached to the person before me. Certain memories are that vivid....it would have to have happened somehow, somewhere.
I have a really bad phobia over vomiting and have had this phobia all my life. I went to a psychic lady when I was 17 and who told me that the reason why I’m so afraid of it is because when I died back in the Aristocrat ages, I had dysentery which causes me to become very sick and die. I pretty much puked my guts out until by soul let my physical body. I have flashbacks of this memory every time I get sick and I also remember that I was living in Ireland and have memories of being a teenager and dancing at at a pub. My past mother was named Allas and she was very strict. I never told her when I was sick with dysentery and when I was laying on my death bed, she asked me why I didn’t tell her so they could get me some herbs to help before it got too bad and I said “a lady never gets sick” because that’s what I was taught from her. Every time I get the stomach flu I always have a psychological break down like I’m going to die. It’s very sad and I think people’s phobias here on earth have to do with how people died in there past life. Just last week my mom was in Seattle and she passed this lady and the lady grabbed her hand and told her “your daughter is going to be okay now, she won’t diet young. She can let go of the fear of throwing up. She won’t die” and my mom broke down crying because her and I have been going through this cycle of misery since I was little and I’m 19 now.
oh wow. I also have a very bad phobia of throwing up to the point where I scare myself into thinking i’ll throw up every single time I eat. For a while, I would take hours to eat something small like a cupcake. I wonder if I experienced anything similar in past lives

I also have past life traumas that have come to me in my dreams, like I’ve remembered times I’ve drown and I’ve also dreamed about times I’ve been murdered, in terrible detail. :( I die in my dream and then I wake up! The thing about life is, none of us get out alive. But that doesn’t mean we should fear death. The fact we live on beyond our physical bodies is actually incredibly comforting to me, because it means no matter what we experience, we will survive it, even if our physical bodies don’t. While I don’t remember any past lives, I do sometimes find things I have a really strong connection to when there’s no reason why I should. For example, I have a strong connection to bodies of water, to the point I feel like I grieve for it if I don’t see a river or the sea. I also feel a connection to the Jewish faith and it’s people. I went to Anne franks house at 13 and I went through so many feelings, as if they were my own family; it’s really hard to describe.
I had a near death experience where I was in a dark place I had no body, there nothing existed. Then in the distance I saw a glowing light like a blue star shining. As I got closer I saw it was a fetus forming and waiting for my soul to enter it. Then the surgeon started calling my name to get up and my soul came back into my body. I soon realized I couldn't breath and the doctor gave me oxygen. I recovered from surgery but will never forget that experience. I also remember bits of my past life.
Insane how most children begin to talk about their past in the beginning of being able to speak, age 2. Like it's been on their mind and is one of the first things to talk about.
My son, has been telling me about his "old parents" since he was about two. He would often say that they didn't look after him very well and he's glad we are his new family. It was only after he started the stone age topic at school that more details came to light. He became tearful and started to describe how he was killed along with his siblings by his parents. But he says that he's glad because it means he's with me. He even showed me the type of hut he lived in and the area of the hut that he was murdered. It's quite unsettling. Any information to help research this, I would be greatful.

BUT how could a child recall a trauma that he says he lived, vividly (which you also say you did but dismissed?) and it be nonsense especially when his current environment is far from the tale he is telling. In 1999 my late maternal grandmother told me through a medium that she and my grandfather would be born again to my cousin's daughters. A few months later, they were born as she said. First my grandmother was born a week or two early in January 2000 due to her mother having blood pressure problems, then my grandfather in February 2000. They have now just finished university. When I saw my cousin's granddaughter in 2014, I knew who she was. I did not say anything as I did not want her to be frightened, nor did I wish to interrupt her current life. When my son was 3 he was scared to go across the train tracks because he said he died on the tracks he got hit by a train , then he said I wasn’t his Mom and my husband wasn’t his dad at that time , I said what are you talking about and he said it again, he would repeat it and then as he got older he never said it again, he’s 30 now and don’t remember anything about that
They usually forget past lives after age 3 when longterm memories are formed so that's why he can't remember now, the old soul has long merged into the new soul and there is no trace of his past consciousness left

My 3 year old was and still is scare to cross the street, because she said she got hit by a car when she was 5yrs old before I was her mom, that her name was Kaylin and her other mom's name is Rebecca. That she went to heaven and told God that she wanted me to be her mommy that she saw me walking in the park and she really liked me. She is 7 now.

My youngest when he could talk said he lived before. He said he fell down the stairs of a big white house, and passed away. He was buried, and he lived above for 5 years. And then he was in the hospital with me, and now he talks "like a kid again". He would say he chose me, or he watched me, and he was so happy he chose me. He's 10 now, and he doesn't remember much about it. It's really weird though. He would know things about life most kids didn't.

When I was about 5 years old my parents and I went to the Netherlands for a holiday from Indonesia. I remember being in Amsterdam before and even guided my Dad through parts of the streets and into a restaurant that I worked at. My dad didn’t believe me until we arrived there. My only other memory is the clothing people wore was very different, and with the help of the internet few years ago I was able to find that it was a style of fashion in the Netherlands around the 50s. I’m now 30 years old and I don’t remember much else now but it was just a very strange memory that I had. We now live in Australia and I often wondered if one day I visit the Netherlands again would I experience those strange memories again.
This reminds me of a little 4 year old girl who lived down the street from my family. She would come down to our house to play with my kids. They were all about the same age. One day she came down to our house looking for my kids to play with her. She asked me if they could come out to play with her. I told her that they were not home at the time and that she should come back later. She said ok. And then she asked me if my wife was home. I told her that she was not. That she and the kids were together. Then she said something that freaked me out. She said that she used to be married once and that she had 2 kids. She stated that she had a very nice husband that she loved so much and that she love her two kids very much. She then bowed her head in sadness and said "And then I died" She stated that she misses them so much. I was so freaked out by what I had just heard I told her she should go home now and come back later. I watched her walk home to make sure she made it home ok. I sat down and I have to admit I was quite shaken up.
Poor little girl; you could have asked a couple simple questions. It helps the person feeling down, just acknowledging her words would have helped her to do a quick recover and refocus.

I am 73 and I love the thought of being reincarnated! I am planning already. I did not have the opportunity to learn to play a piano but will do that in my next life. And that's not all... I will also be a singer and I will be a solo ice skater in the Olympics. I hope it will be for the US. I spent so much time doing hard work and being trafficked in foster homes in this life that I don't want that one again. I know it is a lot of work to do piano lessons, singing lessons and skating but at least it will be something I love.

My son was reincarnated, my car has high windows so my son wasn't able to see outside car while I drove until he was 5 years old. Everytime I drove he would get excited when he would hear muscle car engines in traffic, the older the car the more confused the head tilt then a burst of excitement and mimiced the vehicle. My current son was my brother in my present life, He died in a motorcycle collision with a bus at the age of 20. As a kid I always felt out of place with my family. When I started highschool I had English as a subject (English is my second language, Spanish first) and I felt so connected to the language. I'm Nigerian and my father had an old relative who passed away just before I was born but before she passed away, she told my dad that she would return but as his first child and that she would refuse breast milk, hate cultural food and prefer western food when she is a child and that she would have a light skin and would be quite stubborn and my parents had me and I'm everything she mentioned. My brother committed suicide back in 2010 and I had a baby girl in 2013. When my daughter was 4 years old she described how she came to be with me. How she choose me to be here mom. A young man passes away and falls in love with a girl he meets in heaven. With no warning, she is sent 'back' to be born. He asks to be with her, to be reborn himself. At first he is denied because it's too soon for him. It's made clear that if he goes back prematurely, his life will be very difficult and he may not be reunited with the woman he loves. But he insists, certain that he can find her. He's given until his 30 birthday. In his new incarnation, all he knows is that something is missing, so he's lost and sad. At one point, he meets his former parents. Of course, they don't recognize one another but their connection is strong and immediate. It's probably the most touching scene in the movie.

That’s why the concept of reincarnation doesn’t scare me, it does however leave my profoundly curious as to where our energy or souls exist between each life.
I've had a deep connection with the spirit world since a young child and my father (in spirit) often visits me. I think reincarnation is highly likely. I also think "dreams" are misunderstood. As a child I used to be terrified of aircraft and didn't fly until my mid 20s. I would have flash backs of aircraft in the war and hiding from war planes. I had many past memories of the war and Anderson shelters, air sirens and the like. I always felt like an old soul growing up. But its prepared me for the life I now have and the hardships I had as a child in this life.
My niece Sarah is an reincarnate. At the age of 4 she had described her past life of being a seamstress and had an 18 yr old daughter. She said she was killed by her bestfriend. She said she misses her daughter and constantly worries abt her. None of my family member ever doubt Sarah's stories. We are always intrigued by her past life. I believed in reincarnation myself. Maybe our souls lingers until we find the right circumstances to be born in. Our life is somehow chosen depending on past experiences and we're not supposed to remember it but some ppl can and it's not a blessings but a burden.
Courtney is right - I thought I was crazy - I remember choosing my mother and father - I remember studying in books for the next life and I remember talking with my sister by a stream. I also remember kind of jumping off a cloud to be reborn. Wow - I'm not crazy and it makes perfect sense.

I will agree to that. I remember one where I was executed in mid evil times, one I drowned at age 5 in a river in Asia somewhere, I drowned in WWII after being shot down in the Pacific Ocean. I drowned at age 13 in this life also and was bright back. My last thought before blacking our was , “oh god, not again.” In 1977 that started my search into past lives. according to buddhism, everyone is reborn anyway. we are reborn countless times (more zeroes than you can count). it seems to be that just the people who die tragic deaths seem to remember the past. its like when a computer is shut down suddenly, some information still remains in the memory. if its shut down properly, all the memory is empty
In hinduism it says if your attached/addicted to worldly desires or you can't let go, then your soul remains on earth (aka spirit/ghost) so I guess its there deeply attached to their body/wordly things and bc of their karma they had to be born again and not become a spirit, but since they were so attached to their past they remembered. Its okay if you didn't get a thing I said. But just remember one thing when you die don't be attached to anything or anyone. (What people think of ghosts of their loved one are haunting them is just their attachment to them)
When I was a child, about 6 years old I remember having dreams of a life time and place that was different to my life now. Every time i got upset i used to cry and say" I want to go home". I said that every time i was not pleased and would be in the house i lived in. I also have the ability to foretell events including deaths. One of my very first memories was me floating over a sleeping baby in a dark ish dark blue room. Later in life I learned I had an older baby brother who passed at a month old before my time.

What if your grandparent passes away and is reincarnated as your child, are you suppose to remember them as who they use to be, or are they someone completely new. Reincarnation is a very sick joke.
My husband recounts this: His now 49 year old daughter, age just over 1 year talked about the "before time". She was poor and she died "a long time ago". She was married and had children. My youngest son who is only 5 has been talking of his past lives the past 3 years. He says he lived 5 times before. The 1st one he didn't like because he was just a bug ball of light and not all of the universe was made yet. He said his most recent previous life he lived in Sri Lanka and told me his name and where he lived I googled the name. It was Hebrew and he showed me the town in the centre of Sri Lanka where he lived on Google maps and sure as heck there it was as he had said. As Hinduism is one of the most followed, and known relegion .. we can compare it with the other known one's ( Christianity and Islam) moreover its really good that the concept is accepted in some other places as well but i am proud and blessed to be a Hindu (reasons are plenty) :)
When I was about 4 I started telling my parents detailed stories of things I shouldnt have known about. According to 4yr old me, my older sister had been sent to the nuns to have her baby, where both her and the baby died. I would describe oil lamps instead of electric ones, painted portraits instead of pictures and horse drawn buggies. I also told them I was now me because I chased my leather ball into the lane and was run over by a horse and cart. My parents thought I had a crazy active imagination. We didnt watch tv all that much. It was the late 80s. No one had any historic books or anything. So I have no idea where I got the stories from.

We also choose what we want to learn in each incarnation and not all lessons are pleasant. I know this isn’t the same thing but my whole adolescence i would tell my family one day I’d have a daughter named Evangeline. As time went on it looked like having children would be difficult for me so I thought, hey maybe It’s just a nice thought. I too used to have memories of my past life and had even visited a region when with friends and I recognised the town and had told our guide of what used to be where. The guide had said they'd check with their colleague to either dispute or agree with what I had said (aged 20). Well shortly after his colleague came to me and said all i had pointed out were correct as of the late 1800s. Not long after then my memories of past diminished after a handful years to pass.

Well said.. In India we hindus also believe in reincarnation. And in fact i always think its quite a liberating concept. It assures you that your soul will keep on evolving in each of your births on this planet. Whatever good or bad things that you learn or do will either help or hinder your progress as a soul. This feeling hence make us even more sensitive and responsible about the choices that we make in life.
That's Exactly what Hinduism says ... the body is just like clothes ...when we die we abandon that body and we take another birth ....the Soul never dies ... We will keep on taking birth till we wipe out all our bad Karmas and attain Moksha which is liberation from rebirths ...and never return to this earth
An old Roman emperor wanted to compile all Christian teachings, but he didn't like the ones about reincarnation, because when people believe they never die, they can be fearless. He wanted to keep his subjects in order, so he had all of those teachings burnt. So, you'll find that a lot of Christians don't believe in reincarnation, even though it's pretty normal in most other religious cultures.

@@kathykyle9319 When a person does not finish his/her destined time on earth then that soul comes in some other body, reincarnated. Destined time can be cut short by untimely death. We average people don't know that but there certainly are people who come back in a different home sometimes in the same area.

I once met a man named Robert who could look at you and "see" your past lives in your aura. Him and his sister both had the same gift from a young age but she was afraid of it whereas he turned it into something helpful for others. You would never know Robert had this gift, as he was a 'normal-looking' Canadian man driving a black pick-up truck (not a Swami or Guru) . When I met this man, he knew nothing about me. He didn't know that I had a dream once that was so real and my name was Ezra (I am a woman), and I had a scroll in my hands and was wearing sandals and walking in sand near a well. The dream was so real that after I woke up I even read the whole book of Ezra in the Bible, thinking maybe there was a message for me, but I didn't find anything. One of the past lifetimes this man told me about was that I was a teacher in Palestine, an Essen, and he specifically gave me the name Ezra!!! This man also told me that I was a follower of Saint Patrick in Ireland. When I was visiting in Ireland for the first time in this lifetime I had an out of body experience and felt such a connection to Ireland like I had been there before (I am Canadian). He said that I kept track of Saint Patrick and would light a fire in my village to tell everyone when Saint Patrick was coming. He said Saint Patrick gave me a small gift like a stone and I treasured it. Another thing he told me was that in a past life I was a healer and I was sad because there were only 2 people who I could not seem to help, my mother (psychosomatic illnesses) and my sister (depressed and committed suicide at age 28). In this lifetime, two people who frustrated me were my mother and my sister and with patience and kindness, my relationships worked out better! Robert also showed me on a map where I was a veterinarian (a man) and would travel in a boat with my son to heal animals (horses, cows) with runes and herbs. It's strange because in this lifetime I've had lots of pets and once my vet told me "you missed your calling" because I usually told the vet what was wrong with my pets and how to heal them. There were other things Robert told me about that were a definite connection to me now. Sadly, I lost touch with him before I had a chance to see him again. But I totally believe he could "see" my past lives in my aura and he helped me so much by confirming things that I already knew. For instance, when I travelled along the Mediterranean Sea coast, I told my friend, "I've been here before", and, sure enough, that's where I was travelling in a boat to heal animals in the Islands around Portugal. I personally don't find reincarnation scary, but the thought of coming back to earth over and over again is beyond exhausting. I would want my energy/consciousness to experience something different.

My son was reincarnated. He has always had a very morbid fear of water since forever literally! He would become extremely distraught over baths as an infant and would scream and cry at the mandatory daycare swim lessons. When he was around 3 or 4 we were driving by a lake called Winona Lake. Suddenly he points across the lake to what used to be a resort in the 1800s. Something we never told him about so he shouldn't have known it was there! He blurts out, "That place is where I died! I drowned just off the beach over there!" I was shocked speechless! Now, something else we never told our son is that, during the 1800s there was a road from the resort up to Sky Pond. That road no longer exists. It is now a mere trail in the woods. I've never even brought him down that trail ever!! A few months pass and we take a trip to Sky Pond via the road that accesses it from Oxbow Rd. We get to the pond and our son says, "Wow! That is where I used to live! There was a house there on the other side of the pond and I used to go down to the lake from here!" In shock I literally had no words for how he could know that Winona Lake and Sky Pond connected via that old road in the 1800s. I knew nothing of a house across from Sky Pond so I asked my mom about it later. Mom literally turned white as a ghost! I asked what was wrong and she said that her father, my grandfather, who was born in 1895 used to tell of a house that was on the pond directly across from the main road!!!!!!!!!! By the time mom was born in 1947 it was no longer there!! So she herself had never even seen the house! To this day my son, Lee, will not go anywhere near water or boats and literally melts down when he has to go on a boat! He is now 12! And he refuses to swim at all! He wont even take baths, only showers! His fear is that great! All the evidence proves he is telling the truth but I'm not sure how to find out his name from his previous life as there was a fire at the New Hampton town hall way back when and all property records were destroyed in the fire so there will be no records of who owned the property back when Lee died in his previous life. Some people say this isn't real because it doesn't talk about it in the Bible. I'm a devout Christian and I believe in reincarnation! There are a lot of things that are not talked about in the Bible. God has his mysteries that he doesn't share. I accept that and I accept that my son's past life death causes his fear of water so we don't push him to swim etc. God bless.

You are a good parent for not forcing your child to do things they are terrified of (regardless of the reason for it). I also have a fear of water, but not so severe I guess, because I've taken swimming lessons before (I'm just not good at it). I do have a lot of dreams about deep waters, and almost drowning or something... No idea if it's to do with incarnations, but it's interesting from a psychological aspect, for sure!
I encourage you to gently help him learn to swim over a long period of time with a lot of love and with a lot of patience.

My wifes brother passed away at the age of 20 about a year before I met her. Years later we had a son and went to visit my mother in law who lived a few hours away. My son was just old enough to talk and never knew or heard any stories about his uncle who had passed. While visiting, my son walked up to my wifes mother and said to her "Remember when you were my mommy"? Needless to say we were all pretty freaked out but at the same time it was oddly comforting.

I had memories, forget some of them...I would ask Mom why we were at certain places when we were very young...and who the people were ...also mentioned to my sister. They had no recollection and I was accused of making up stories for attention. There are times I'll meet someone who are very familiar and there's an automatic strong hostility between us, the person also recognizes it...and I end up walking away drained and confused as I'm sure the person was.
It doesn't happen very often anymore...strange memories and encounters have quieted down.
I still have other abilities but unrelated to this story.
I don't know if my life is one that is still attached to the person before me. Certain memories are that vivid....it would have to have happened somehow, somewhere.

I have a really bad phobia over vomiting and have had this phobia all my life. I went to a psychic lady when I was 17 and who told me that the reason why I’m so afraid of it is because when I died back in the Aristocrat ages, I had dysentery which causes me to become very sick and die. I pretty much puked my guts out until by soul let my physical body. I have flashbacks of this memory every time I get sick and I also remember that I was living in Ireland and have memories of being a teenager and dancing at at a pub. My past mother was named Allas and she was very strict. I never told her when I was sick with dysentery and when I was laying on my death bed, she asked me why I didn’t tell her so they could get me some herbs to help before it got too bad and I said “a lady never gets sick” because that’s what I was taught from her. Every time I get the stomach flu I always have a psychological break down like I’m going to die. It’s very sad and I think people’s phobias here on earth have to do with how people died in there past life. Just last week my mom was in Seattle and she passed this lady and the lady grabbed her hand and told her “your daughter is going to be okay now, she won’t diet young. She can let go of the fear of throwing up. She won’t die” and my mom broke down crying because her and I have been going through this cycle of misery since I was little and I’m 19 now.

While I don’t remember any past lives, I do sometimes find things I have a really strong connection to when there’s no reason why I should. For example, I have a strong connection to bodies of water, to the point I feel like I grieve for it if I don’t see a river or the sea. I also feel a connection to the Jewish faith and it’s people. I went to Anne franks house at 13 and I went through so many feelings, as if they were my own family; it’s really hard to describe.

My son, has been telling me about his "old parents" since he was about two. He would often say that they didn't look after him very well and he's glad we are his new family. It was only after he started the stone age topic at school that more details came to light. He became tearful and started to describe how he was killed along with his siblings by his parents. But he says that he's glad because it means he's with me. He even showed me the type of hut he lived in and the area of the hut that he was murdered. It's quite unsettling. My 3 year old was and still is scare to cross the street, because she said she got hit by a car when she was 5yrs old before I was her mom, that her name was Kaylin and her other mom's name is Rebecca. My youngest when he could talk said he lived before. He said he fell down the stairs of a big white house, and passed away. He was buried, and he lived above for 5 years. And then he was in the hospital with me, and now he talks "like a kid again". He would say he chose me, or he watched me, and he was so happy he chose me. When I was about 5 years old my parents and I went to the Netherlands for a holiday from Indonesia. I remember being in Amsterdam before and even guided my Dad through parts of the streets and into a restaurant that I worked at. My dad didn’t believe me until we arrived there. My only other memory is the clothing people wore was very different, and with the help of the internet few years ago I was able to find that it was a style of fashion in the Netherlands around the 50s.
I’m now 30 years old and I don’t remember much else now but it was just a very strange memory that I had. We now live in Australia and I often wondered if one day I visit the Netherlands again would I experience those strange memories again.

This reminds me of a little 4 year old girl who lived down the street from my family. She would come down to our house to play with my kids. They were all about the same age. One day she came down to our house looking for my kids to play with her. She asked me if they could come out to play with her. I told her that they were not home at the time and that she should come back later. She said ok. And then she asked me if my wife was home. I told her that she was not. That she and the kids were together. Then she said something that freaked me out. She said that she used to be married once and that she had 2 kids. She stated that she had a very nice husband that she loved so much and that she love her two kids very much. She then bowed her head in sadness and said "And then I died" She stated that she misses them so much. I was so freaked out by what I had just heard I told her she should go home now and come back later. I watched her walk home to make sure she made it home ok. My son was reincarnated, my car has high windows so my son wasn't able to see outside car while I drove until he was 5 years old. Everytime I drove he would get excited when he would hear muscle car engines in traffic, the older the car the more confused the head tilt then a burst of excitement and mimiced the vehicle. His second word was "Vroom" it world trip me out, we never ever even till this day we won't watch t.v. or movies, television could be on for days on a infomercial channel or off for weeks, one day they were old action vintage sports cars on television and my son began naming cars he's never seen a day in his life, cars I had no clue about. Finally what made me believe he had a past life was I was outside arguing with my fling while I had my tool travel tool box set on floor near my car and my son was looking at my car then turned to the tool box, he continued doing this for a whole minute. As she continued ranting I kept telling her to plz stfu with body language till she finally noticed what was happening. He walked up to tool box, squated down, pulled a screw driver out, walked to good area, layed on his back, and went under hood like a mechanic. I pulled him out and asked what was he doing and he replyed, "I fixed my Shelby Mustang, I fix yours now".

I'm Nigerian and my father had an old relative who passed away just before I was born but before she passed away, she told my dad that she would return but as his first child and that she would refuse breast milk, hate cultural food and prefer western food when she is a child and that she would have a light skin and would be quite stubborn and my parents had me and I'm everything she mentioned. I’ve said that about myself so many times. I feel I’ve had so many children too and that I really didn’t want any this time around. I remember fragments from different lives. I will agree to that. I remember one where I was executed in mid evil times, one I drowned at age 5 in a river in Asia somewhere, I drowned in WWII after being shot down in the Pacific Ocean. I drowned at age 13 in this life also and was bright back. My last thought before blacking our was , “oh god, not again.” In 1977 that started my search into past lives. I wanted to know why I said that and why I had a life long terror of water. So bad when I was a baby they said I would scream till I turned purple and pass out.

according to buddhism, everyone is reborn anyway. we are reborn countless times (more zeroes than you can count). it seems to be that just the people who die tragic deaths seem to remember the past. its like when a computer is shut down suddenly, some information still remains in the memory. if its shut down properly, all the memory is empty
In hinduism it says if your attached/addicted to worldly desires or you can't let go, then your soul remains on earth (aka spirit/ghost) so I guess its there deeply attached to their body/wordly things and bc of their karma they had to be born again and not become a spirit, but since they were so attached to their past they remembered. Its okay if you didn't get a thing I said. But just remember one thing when you die don't be attached to anything or anyone. (What people think of ghosts of their loved one are haunting them is just their attachment to them)

When I was a child, about 6 years old I remember having dreams of a life time and place that was different to my life now. Every time i got upset i used to cry and say" I want to go home". I said that every time i was not pleased and would be in the house i lived in. I also have the ability to foretell events including deaths. I also remember before i was born and was deeply mortified that i could not fly...i also astral projected before i even knew what that was. As a child i also remembered parts of herbalism when i applied a rose to my friends scraped knee and she said it felt better. Fast forward to now when i think about it there is no way my freethinking occult ways came from the religion of my family

What if your grandparent passes away and is reincarnated as your child, are you suppose to remember them as who they use to be, or are they someone completely new.

My husband recounts this: His now 49 year old daughter, age just over 1 year talked about the "before time". She was poor and she died "a long time ago". She was married and had children. She had forgotten about this when they tried to get her to elaborate some time later. Could have been her imagination, but maybe-----hmmm
My youngest son who is only 5 has been talking of his past lives the past 3 years. He says he lived 5 times before. The 1st one he didn't like because he was just a bug ball of light and not all of the universe was made yet. He said his most recent previous life he lived in Sri Lanka and told me his name and where he lived I googled the name. It was Hebrew and he showed me the town in the centre of Sri Lanka where he lived on Google maps and sure as heck there it was as he had said. He said he's happiest in this life though as he didn't have uch happiness in his previous lives. He was born smiling, kid you not. We got the pics to prove it he smiled for hours even when asleep.
Reincarnation is the concept only in Hinduism.. thus no wonder it's the oldest religion.. so proud of being a Hindu 😊
@FIDIRONU ofcourse i agree with you.. i have watched some videos where they are Christians and thus don't believe in life cycle. But in Hinduism its an old thing.. i didn't invent hinduism that's true but glad to be born in a hindu family . I believe that's not wrong to be proud of 😇

All i was saying i believed in reincarnation before i ever read or watched videos.. in our culture it is told if we do bad deeds then we are stuck in this life or are born as non humans (any other animals) that's why i said i never heard about reincarnation from other religious preachers .. :)
@FIDIRONU that's great. So glad you shared your knowledge :) the tribal people has tremendous amazing rituals and believes. As Hinduism is one of the most followed, and known relegion .. we can compare it with the other known one's ( Christianity and Islam) moreover its really good that the concept is accepted in some other places as well but i am proud and blessed to be a Hindu (reasons are plenty) :)

When I was about 4 I started telling my parents detailed stories of things I shouldnt have known about. According to 4yr old me, my older sister had been sent to the nuns to have her baby, where both her and the baby died. I would describe oil lamps instead of electric ones, painted portraits instead of pictures and horse drawn buggies. I also told them I was now me because I chased my leather ball into the lane and was run over by a horse and cart. My parents thought I had a crazy active imagination. We didnt watch tv all that much. It was the late 80s. No one had any historic books or anything. So I have no idea where I got the stories from.

I am not into reincarnation; but there's just this strange feeling in me since i was young (i remember feeling this way since i was 6)
A strange sadness over nothing,a painful spot in my heart like i have been missing someone for a long time,
a garden of lavender or any violet flowers kills me with so much pain that i don't understand, a dull memories that occur then vanishes suddenly.

I've heard that before, where people think that you get to pick out your parents before you're born. If we got to choose what family we get born too, who would choose to be born into a family where they will be horrifically abused or maybe killed?
see karma as currency, according to your currencies, your soul would be given chance to select, you cannot select a good family if your soul deeds were poor basically the good family will never appear in menu for your choice, everything is driven by karma
We also choose what we want to learn in each incarnation and not all lessons are pleasant. This of course does not mean that you must accept toxicity in your life, but by refusing to do so you learn how to say no and recognize the red flags of manipulation and abuse from a very young age, which means that in your next incarnation or even in your current one, you may end up becoming a good psychologist or mentor because you have a natural gift for being able to read people.
I know this isn’t the same thing but my whole adolescence i would tell my family one day I’d have a daughter named Evangeline. As time went on it looked like having children would be difficult for me so I thought, hey maybe It’s just a nice thought. But I carried on saying “one day..” on my first date with my now husband I asked him to tell me more about his kids and then he got to his youngest, named Evangeline. Funny thing as well is that my husband shared a birthday with my ex of 7 years and, if that’s not weird enough, his ex wife (and his kids mom) and I have the same first and middle name. Trippy stuff but best of all we get to raise the kids as all equal parents so I got my daughter Evangeline

My daughter has done hypnotic past life regressions, and a few times on me. The lives I led explain some issues in my current life. My daughter is also a psychic medium. I asked if I had to come back here in another life. Her guide said I would not have to return, but that I would want to return. Btw, I had a near death experience at age 25. The most important thing that came from it was a very fervent belief in reincarnation which isn’t anything I ever gave a moments thought to before the NDE.
