It’s funny that I saw this video posted as we were camping on site 103 at MacGregor but the cellular signal was so poor I had to wait until we got home to watch it. I asked about the bears at the store and was told that there were two but because it was the busy season they were skittish and hadn’t been seen for over a week. You’d have a better chance of seeing one further north at Killbear or Arrowhead.

Lovely!! So idyllic! Do you wash up your plates and pots in the trailer?

Just a bit of advice, I hope you know how to identify poison ivy because there was lots of it in the park, some right beside a lot of the paths. Not a problem if you’re careful but not fun if you get it. Also, marshmallows toast better over a lower fire after the flames have died down near the end of the evening. They heat through and soften better.

From what I’ve seen on television UK campgrounds seem to be more like open fields that our parks here, but maybe I’m not seeing the whole picture.

Marshmallow is done when it's on fire and black. You have to blow it out and count to ten before attempting to put it in your mouth. Also.... Walmarts? Smores? Pass
I don't know any🇨🇦 that actually like smores in Graham wafers blah. No one usually has the time to actually make them. Before the marshmallow loses its melty middle
It's burned marshmallows octopus weiner's & russet potatoes covered in foil (that get thrown INTO the fire)at a campfire.
    Octopus weiner you ask????
Cut a Weiner from about ¾ of the way into 4rths length wise. Stick the uncut ¼ onto a long campfire fork thing and watch the legs start to curl and roast up. Eat with your burned up crispy marshmallow and drink it down with a beer or cider. Good times. When you run out of marshmallows and Weiners the potatoes are done. Cut in half and smother with butter. Open another beer or cider. Go to bed reeking on campfire.

@@LouiseWareArmstrong ... 👍If you use the "throw potatoes into the fire for an evening snack" ... Poke holes into potatoes with a fork, smear skin with butter before covering with foil. Just medium size not those big monster ones. About fist size
