I wouldn’t mind the lack of a charger in the box if it was a standard PD charger. But the problem with these Chinese phones is that they equip their phones with proprietary charging protocols and you can’t reach top charging speeds without them, making the removal of charger from the box even more outrageous!
picking between the 14T and 14T Pro basically boils down to whether you want to be able to run the current benchmark games like *Wuthering Waves* & *Honkai Star Rail* (dont ask why a JRPG is the most demanding phone game in the market rn), and upcoming games like *Arknights: Endfield* or *Neverness To Everness* at 60 FPS bc theres a real performance gulf between these new games compared to older games like say Genshin Impact, to the point where the Dimensity 8300 can struggle compared to the D9300+
I have an 11T Pro which is my first foray into the Xiaomi phone brand since Huawei stopped installing google (still have my P30 Pro). Looking to upgrade but don’t want to splash loads on the 14 Ultra. 14T. pro hits the sweet spot for me. Thanks for the great review. Summed up without a looong breakdown.
Hey, I'm considering upgrading from the 11T to the 14T or 14T Pro, but I'm not sure whether to spend €450 on the 14T or €650 on the 14T Pro. What bothers me about the 14T is the plastic build, 67W charging, and the lack of wireless charging.
For the Xiaomi 14T, please try to record video with main camera while walking. From many first impression video there's autofocus hunting problem every 1-2 second when walking while recording (like Poco F5 and F6) which the problem is not exist in Xiaomi 13T series and 14T Pro. If it's true hopefully Xiaomi can fix it ASAP via software update

Just this year they added the light fusion 900 sensor, 8k vid recording, and wireless charging to the Pro version maybe just to make the pro version a more attractive deal

The only thing these models kill is battery life and for me it doesn't matter what specs you put in, if the battery consumption is 1.5 charges a day, it's too many charges because by 600 charges (approximately 1 year's time) the battery will start to degrade especially the Li Po batteries used in these phones, after that it's a slow downhill ride. Look at the One Plus 13, that new Glacier Battery tech is cutting edge tech .

why is everyone being pissy about the charger??? if youre upgrading from a xiaomi phone do you not keep your old bricks? otherwise this phone IS cheaper than when the 13t launched. for that difference you can buy a decent gan charger if you do not have one lying around already.
Pricing is the following, starting at 256gb:
The Xiaomi 14T starts at €649/£549
The Xiaomi 14T Pro starts at €799/£649
Nothing new to justify the price. My Poco x5 pro does my job at 250 euros. Enjoy
450euros and 700euros nowdays. The 14T is a nice bargain.Instead of the 14Tpro try the regular 14 which cost the same and is a bit better.
