@@darkwaffle787 Please don't fall for it. I watched several reviews of the Xiaomi 14T Pro and decided to give it a shot-almost an instant regret. While the main camera is impressive, the wide-angle and selfie cameras produce disappointingly dull images, almost as if they’re from a different device altogether. The so-called AI features on the 14T Pro feel gimmicky at best. The audio transcription is painfully slow, especially compared to my old Google Pixel 7 Pro, which offers live transcription. And then there's the super frustrating "GetsApp" bloatware-a spammy built-in app that keeps pushing useless recommendations, with no way to fully remove it! I tried disabling it in Settings, but it reappears every time. Xiaomi, what were you thinking by embedding a spam app directly into the OS?
@@alptuna84 All i can say is that im a HEAVY user and the battery managed to last over day and a half without any charging. Amazing battery for phone addicts like me. My average daily screen time is 12 hours btw 🥲
My guess is that flicker free screens are not compartible with LTPO screens. So you either go for less power consumption or DC-Dimming. I prefer the latter since I set to 60hz anyway, so I barely profit from LTPO.
I bought poco f3 early 2021 because of your reviews and recommendations, right now after update to hyper os few months ago,phone heats up on cellular data and when connected to wifi its fine, network too is so weak now,phone is hanging alot
FYI, in the comments: I purchased this phone off Amazon, in the states, and it arrived today, with the charging brick, and an adapter for US plug. It is the 14t Pro and I was expecting it not to be included, because it hasn't been in any reviews. It was in my box though.
@Jthall1990 haven't had a chance to use it a lot yet. It's a bit different from what I'm used to, as far as operating system. But the camera is why I got it, and it's excellent. I haven't had any problems running apps I like, so that's good. So far, so good.
I have the 14 What I like, compact size, cameras are good but camera app is sluggish sometimes when taking multiple pics. Video is good, ois is good, but panning sometimes jitters especially on 4k60fps. Normal usage, good, snappy. What i dont like screen (personal) i like the crisper screen on my previous poco f5 pro (wqhd+) and better viewing angles too so i think youd like the screen on the 14t pro better than the 14. Personal opinion tho. Speakers, okay, not as good as the ones on the iphone 14 plus i had last year.
I just bought my first Xiaomi product (the Pad Pro 5G) and I am reasonably happy with it so far, especially with the keyboard case, that I ordered a couple of weeks after getting the tablet.
Love that they have the same deal I got when i purchased a 12T pro. Basically, £495 for a 14T and a Redmi Pad Pro Sell the Redmi Pad pro for £150-200 on ebay. boom, phone for £300-350.

Thanks to your review, I actually ended up buying a Xiaomi 14 (the regular one, 14gb, 512gb of storage) but, merely after about a couple of hours, I've ended up return said bugger because they do cack when coming to 3rd party launchers' support - bummer
I continue to be baffled by Xiaomi's persistence in killing off the side-mounted FPS. I still have the X5 Pro in a drawer which made way for my A55, and I do genuinely miss side-mounted.

Wild prices, i got my 13t pro for 460euros week ago and this one doesnt look like a massive upgrade compared to price diff, always best to wait with buying brand new phones. This looks like a amazing good purchase in few months when price is 600 and less. Dno why all the brands overprice phones on release, i even read somewhere they are giving redmi pad for "free" when buying these. Thats a sneaky way of getting rid of pads stock saying its free...
@@stefan289 You can sell the Redmi Pad Pro and get around 150-200, which makes the phone 600 Euro in reality. But yeah, I'd rather wait until there are some good discounts under 600 or some very cheap contract that includes this phones. Cameras are quite an improvement, I'd say. Zoom and front camera should be considerably better. Other than that, those are the usual yearly updates like processor. But yeah, for Xiaomi in general it's better to wait some months are check for some good deals.
Well, in country where I live, the prices are real, without taxes...14t starts at 450 euros, and 14t pro 600 euros. Probably because od the taxes, it's higher in Europe. Like every other phone, they add a lot.

I just bought this bugger. It was a bundle with a watch. But what I'm actually amazed is that my box did actually come with a 120w charger adapter. So I can't complain much right now. Let's see how I feel 12 months later.
But charger brick not included. If you switch brands how are you gonna use the old charger. If something goes wrong with the battery and you tell them you use other chargers. It will not be covered in the warranty.

T series is like Samsung FE ( fan edition ) series . It is meant to provide a new phone with last gen specs at a lower price which is suitable for most people. 😊
I loved my old Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro. The holographic blue fire and the parascope camera were amazing. The darn thing crapped out trying to do a over the air software updat and I could never succeed in flashing a new version of the OS to get it going again. Otherwise it was amazing for what it was for the time I had it.
Are you aware that they have NO chargers for sale at Xiaomi UK ? I went to actually buy one of these £700 phones. Aware that they do not put the charger in the box thanks to your review. So I searched to buy one, and they don't sell any and don't know when they will have any in ???
Design and UI: that's why i don't really like Xiaomi but i have had a good experience during few months with Poco F4, SD870: powerful, fast charge and ok battery life.
Seems pointless, you can literally buy last year's iPhone Pro for less. And it's only going to go down some time around Christmas. Its go the new chip so handles higher end games pretty well. It's why I don't see the point of these kinds of phones most of the time, just buy last year's higher end model. Unless you want to go really cheap, buy one from a few years ago. Plus, if you buy from just a few years ago it's usually just from the original release , so it's still a new phone.
Is gaming on a phone especially for an hour at a time a super common thing for people nowadays? I don't really understand it when we have counsels PCs and other handheld gaming devices. Cell phone gaming to me is just cringe having to touch the thing that's displaying your game isn't ideal for me but maybe it is for most people I don't know I'm just genuinely curious if it's like a big thing nowadays that a lot of people do
many games today need to be played daily (their system is playing out the FOMO card for players), playing dailies everyday on PC when you just have a long day can be a hassle. You can play them while waiting for the bus or something if they're installed in your phone. Some others are just simply can't afford pc/consoles and want to play high end games, some others want to play while laying on the bed. Nowadays some of such games are cross platforms (eg Wuthering Waves that showed here)
Actually "Director's Mode" is to FULLY CONTROL while connecting to ANOTHER'S PHONE CAMERAS to get 2 different perspectives views. And in 'short film' you can switch to dual cameras (both front & back) to capture your face while doing i.e rollercoaster 😅
read somewhere that this is going to be the new norm, probably as we all have a charger lying around, and maybe buy just the brick if you really need it. Like how super flagships do anyway
@@Mustafa_Wrya not many people want to put their phone in such stress in order to fully charge it in 10 minutes either. a 30w brick, will give you enough juice in a logical amount of time.ultra fast charging isn't the best for your device, not the worst either but you can live without it

Been Using their Mi 9T since September 2019 and its still working till today the only issue is my battery, I'm gonna totally buy that phone next year!
Im also using 9T for 4-5 years now, I've changed the battery and it runs like new

Is gaming on a phone especially for an hour at a time a super common thing for people nowadays? I don't really understand it when we have counsels PCs and other handheld gaming devices. Cell phone gaming to me is just cringe having to touch the thing that's displaying your game isn't ideal for me but maybe it is for most people I don't know I'm just genuinely curious if it's like a big thing nowadays that a lot of people do
many games today need to be played daily (their system is playing out the FOMO card for players), playing dailies everyday on PC when you just have a long day can be a hassle. You can play them while waiting for the bus or something if they're installed in your phone. Some others are just simply can't afford pc/consoles and want to play high end games, some others want to play while laying on the bed. Nowadays some of such games are cross platforms (eg Wuthering Waves that showed here)
What about camera condensation?
Actually "Director's Mode" is to FULLY CONTROL while connecting to ANOTHER'S PHONE CAMERAS to get 2 different perspectives views. And in 'short film' you can switch to dual cameras (both front & back) to capture your face while doing i.e rollercoaster 😅
With no charger included? Did they finally give in and started to "care" about environment?
read somewhere that this is going to be the new norm, probably as we all have a charger lying around, and maybe buy just the brick if you really need it. Like how super flagships do anyway

@@Mustafa_Wrya not many people want to put their phone in such stress in order to fully charge it in 10 minutes either. a 30w brick, will give you enough juice in a logical amount of time.ultra fast charging isn't the best for your device, not the worst either but you can live without it
