Hi John, you are the winner of the giveaway. Please go to the about section on my channel and send me an email with your address so we can get this Super Clean shipped out to you. Thanks for your comment and glad you enjoy the content. Congratulations!
im 19 about to turn 20. I bought a C4 about 5 months ago, it's my daily. It's been great, I love the car and the way it drives. yes its 38 years old, yes things have broken and stopped working, but Ive been fixing cars since I was 11, and when buying my vette, its simply what I expected. Even the most clean, well-kept antique car WILL have issues. Honestly I can't say I'd recommend daily driving one of these if you don't know how to work on it. Yes maybe you have money to pay a mechanic, but at that point, just buy a better condition, even more reliable car.
86 owner here......yessssssss attention grabber for sure and a great feeling to drive!!!! Also, thanks for the scenic route and hitting those curves!!!!!!!
Hey there, Trice!! Thanks so much! Great car you have there! So fun to drive. Glad you enjoyed the curves. The video doesn’t look near as fun as it is but I am glad you can appreciate it! :)
I agree with most of your comments, but for a first car, some mechanical knowledge is needed or the desire to learn. Mines an 85, and love it, even with all the quirks.
Love the channel, been watching for a way long time, you actually inspired me to get my C4 as my first car and my current daily driver! Keep it up!!! (Love the new intro, I want to try to do that myself)
Hey man, I love hearing things like this. Thank you so much! I hope you have loved owning it. Glad you enjoy the channel and the intro. I love it too. My favorite! Good luck recreating it!
I bought my 1990 C4 Corvette 10 years ago. It had 60 thousand miles on it when I bought it, now it has a 120,000. I drive the car for date night and anniversary trips. Yes I drag race , flip Donuts and smoke the tires. The l98 is a beast.
If you are a sixteen year old anywhere in North America, I suggest you get an 80's Chevy Caprice with a four cylinder, a roll cage and five point harnesses.
After owning a 1980 Corvette, I wanted an upgrade and bought a triple black 1990 C4 convertible. I had it for 10 years and then tragically had to sell it. I totally loved that car and it *never* got old. 1990 - 1993 Corvettes have my favourite interior of all Corvettes - the cockpit feel and seats are awesome. They unfortunately reduced that in 94-96. To this day, I still miss that car and wish I never sold it. I can't imagine that anybody would be disappointed with these cars - they are just too fun. Good video!
So true, Rob. I have said I would never sell this car from the day I bought it 12 years ago. I would regret it so bad. Sorry you had to sell it. Maybe you can get another one sometime!
My Son got a 95 c4 polo green. Ended up working with a master mechanic who owns and restored the same car in black. Son's waist deep now replacing the optispark. Love your videos!
One thought about a C4 daily driver...the LT-1/4 with the optispark issue. You would have to be careful in very wet areas. You don’t want splash up from the road with a 92-94 with the old optispark.
I’ve been following your Chanel for a while now and I like how you are straightforward about the c4 experience I’m a owner of a corvette myself and you informed with easier ways to fix things as well as some products to use that’s great for the corvette so with that being said keep the great work up
Hi Preston. Thank you so much for your comment. Means a lot to me. Glad you enjoy the videos. I enjoy making them and reading comments from people like you! Take care!
My radio also didn't work for a while have you thought of a wireless bluetooth speaker? That's what I did. I since had a stereo system installed deck speakers amp and all new wires run and I absolutely love it , music makes the Sunday drive way funner . Keep up the videos bro💪
Hi Jeff, I really love the stock look and really want to use it. Maybe I can get it fixed someday soon. Miss my music as well. Glad you enjoy the video :)
I can totally agree with you on that! Also, if the winner of the Super Clean never contacted me, you were the 2nd person that randomly got picked. You would have gotten it. I hope you can enter other giveaways I do! Thanks man!
Wow! Thanks Diane. Nice to see a few comments from ladies, really appreciate your support! Sounds like you both know your way around a Corvette! Thanks for the feedback!
So one dynamic not talked about here is the change in how often people drive. I work from home all week so I do very little daily driving so I would think that might change the aspect of boredom at least a little. I know what you mean though. The novelty fades but I think that would happen with every car so there is no way to avoid it. This means it is that much more important to know what you want before buying. If you do not get excited when given the opportunity to drive it you likely picked the wrong car.
I have an 85 c4 that I daily drive. I wouldn’t have it be my only car. I love driving it just for errands around town to keep miles down on my 2011 ss camaro. But over all I drive the crap out of mine. It’s sad to say it’s our beater lol but I love driving it.
I almost choked when I heard $3.85😔. Good ole days when 93/94 octane was that much. Now we can just multiply that by 2 and that’s our new price of gas…
Yeah, no kidding. I have not gotten gas yet this season because I have not been driving it. My tank is on E but I don’t feel like spending $120 on one fill up. Pretty pathetic
look up battee, com or right here on the tube they are in the st louis area they will rebuild and calibrate your tach ship it to them they will ship it back it only takes them about 1 week resonable price too they rebuilt my havac heater control panel shipping and every thing cost me a hundred bucks work is backed up or your money back
Recently got an ‘85 C4 with 54k miles on it for $2,500. Been fixing it up and still need to work out some details on it. It is currently pearl white with a metallic red stripe down the middle. It’s mostly faded so I want to paint it again but can’t decide on a color :/
L98 is the easiest one to maintain, and I love small block 350s, market is huge for a good build, I’m just starting my channel up, maybe we can get a nice link up to some footage.
Hey Wes, sorry for taking so long to respond to you. If it has the L98 engine, I would say yes but I don’t know much about the pre 1991 years. Also, it depends on who you get your insurance though. I have antique tags on mine and am allowed to drive 3,000 miles per year and I pay $187 per year! Best of luck!
Hey!! You are the one that was getting a maroon Ford 500 tinted, I think 🤔. I remember you. You said you have had a ton of vehicles done by Andy! Thanks for subscribing, man. Means a lot!
Think I should sell my daily neon to get a c4? Only way I could afford it currently, I just want a car I can enjoy. I would have to drive it in the snow however.
Haha, this made me laugh. I have owned 2 Neon’s and loved them. I owned a 1997 Neon when I bought my vette. I would not recommend for snow driving at all. I hope you can get one someday, though. You would love it!

C4 is my favorite vette, coming from someone who has driven many c3s and c5s. Perfect combination of speed, handling and rawness
Between those 3, I would totally agree. They are great to drive!
I'm a daily driver.Never get board, easy to pass others. Easy getting on and off Highway. 94 never left me stranded.
