If they had not tried to go round the iceberg and just hit it head on the titanic would not have been badly damaged but would have stayed afloat but that is not the fault of the men on the bridge but the fault of captain Smith and Bruce Ismay Bruce Ismay's arrogance and Smith's inability to sand up to Bruce Ismay let to this tragic loss of life so that Isamy and The White Star Line could be the fastest passenger ship to cross the Atlantic Ocean and that is something that can't be ignored or forgiven and the fact that Bruce Ismay snuck on to a life boat is beond cowardly when there was still men women and children on bord RIP to all that past away on the night of 04/14 /1912
