I did this. I wasn’t fallen on, but me and my horse were practicing pacing before and after jumps with a pole before and after. The horse and I went over the first pole and jump together, and I went over the second pole all alone. If I hadn’t gone farther, I would have landed with some part of my spine ON the pole, probably paralyzed and if I hadn’t bean wearing a helmet, the back of my head would have been cracked open. Nearly broke a rib, pulled nearly every muscle in my back and almost punctured a lung with the splintered rib. There’s no way of helping a broken rib besides just time and rest, which I never really got to get until a few years after. I’m very lucky to be ok now! Worst fall off a horse I’ve ever had.
Of all the things he’s more and MOST sad about his bow lololol. My bow broke…..being an archer I actually gasped and went OH! and felt all the sadness lol. You get so used to your bow and get to know it inside and out and all it’s little quirks and workarounds…and you kinda bond with it. This is reason weapons have names.
