Since I'm doing arabian only units for the full trail completition, my trick to dealing with the early rush was slingers and fire ballistas. Slingers took care of the slaves, fire ballistas killed archers and swordsmen. Once I managed to stabilize and start getting some gold the slingers were replaced with proper archers but don't underestimate how useful they are when you can afford to spend only a small amount of gold on units.

Thanks for the Vid! But just a little Idea for the start: if u only build 4 archeries u could spend the gold in 5 Crossbowmen and the first waves of Arab.swordsmen wouldn't be that nasty :3

Too far from base and enemy’s always walk past the ore. You should have a stable economy & army before you are able to put up some mines
