As for as root knot nematodes, both the Roma and BeefMaster 7288 tomato never show signs of nematode damage. So I plant what will succeed after experimenting with many varieties of tomatoes.

Thanks for the tip! Luckily I think they are under control but I’m going to bookmark the beefmaster variett

My romas were attacked by nematodes. There is a hybrid Roma that I’m trying next growing season that is resistant to them though

I have never seen a sprayer like you are using here. ( in the big box stores) Where did you find this one?

I was wondering myself. I did a search for hand pump sprayer and this seems to be one, and there are lots to be found.

Make sure you remove the screen filter inside the nozzle so that the nematodes can be dispersed!!!

Did the beneficial nematodes control your root knot nematode problem ?

We believe they did. We successfully grew squash, beans, cucumbers and melons in that bed this year with no signs of root knot. We will pull the roots of the Centercut squash once they are done producing to inspect at the end of the season
