Lots of great books here! I like watching these tag videos, some of my answers would be: Best sequel is tied between The Hunger of the Gods by John Gwynne and Empire of the Damned by Jay Kristoff New release haven’t read yet: Camino Ghosts by John Grisham, waiting for my library hold. Most anticipated release is The Fury of the Gods, due in October. Biggest surprise is The Boys of Summer by Roger Kahn. I had this on my 24 to read in 2024 or unhaul. It’s about the Brooklyn Dodgers and I’m not a baseball fan. But they were my late husband’s favorite team when he was a little boy and I had bought this somewhere after he had passed away and was going to read it for him. I didn’t expect to like it, and wound up loving it. So glad I read it. I have 10 books left in this reading project so they are the answer to to the final tag question. Book that made me cry...I cry easily so almost all of them really😂 but some that really triggered the waterworks are my reread of Rules of Civility, both of the fantasy books I listed for best sequel, Martyr! and My Friends. My newest favorite character is Belle deCosta Greene. I read about her first in The Personal Librarian, and was so interested in her, I read the biography of her by Heidi Ardizzone called An Illuminated Life. She was such a fascinating person and I loved reading about her, so I guess she also counts as a book that made me happy. I can’t pick just one favorite, but definitely all of the above would answer that question. Have a great week💕
Sandy these are great answers! I have wanted to read The Boys Of Summer myself and I love that you read this for him and loved it. Rules of Civility I definitely want to get to. Hadn't heard much about The Personal Librarian so I'm glad you told me about that too. I'll check out the fantasies and The Fury of the Gods. I haven't decided if I want to get back to Grisham. That one is a stand alone?
Wow I didn't know T.J. Newman had another one already! I didn't even get to the second one, Drowning, yet. Ooh, Hampton Heights sounds fun! Love that it's set in Milwaukee too. Garlic and the Vampire has come up a few times on BookTube and it does look cute! I'm currently reading The Housemaid, I guess late to the game, but it's enjoyable so far and pulled me out of a bit of a slump that I had during my move. All moved in now, so I'm hoping to binge read this summer! End if Story is sitting and waiting for me too! The Challenger book would also be interesting. I haven't gotten to Janice Hallett yet but I have the Christmas Appeal which will be waiting for me in the fall/winter. Happy reading, dear Laurie! Looks like we'll have a few books in common. 😊📚
Sandy, thank you so much for the recommendation for The Personal Librarian. I am fascinated by that time in NYC and the amazon blurb sounded fascinating. I've added it to my cart because I'm doing the Read-What-I Own challenge and also not buying new books at this time. (My last few credit card bills have been absolutely terrifying!!!) 💙
Camino Ghosts is the third book Grisham wrote in this, I guess it’s a series. I don’t read much Grisham because I don’t usually care for courtroom dramas. But these books are set on a fictional island off eastern coast of Florida and Mc is a bookseller.
This tag makes me want to start posting on RUclips! Yes- you are right! The MN stands for Minnesota! Enjoy your backlist! I am enjoying reading mine too!
So many wonderful books!
Yes. So little time. haha
This is my favorite tag, and it looks like you have several wonderful books to look forward to (along with many others).
Thanks Debbie. I like this tag a lot too.
Oh! Let's buddy read The Mysterious Case of the Alperton Angels! I've got that on my TBR. Great answers!
Absolutely! I'm all in - just have to finish these and I'm there.
The Lives of puppets is on my TBR, loved Garlic and The Vampire recommended it to my grandson.
Yeah, it's a great one for the kids to read. I started Puppets - I'll keep you posted, Mary.
Loved James, The Mystery Guest
James is on my hold list - and I'm 10 weeks from getting it. So popular right now. So many people have loved it.

@@sandyokey1019 I will check it out. Thanks!
Lots of great books! ❤
Thank you Kay! And thanks for watching.
Frozen River was so good!
indeed. sooooo good.
Enjoyed End of Story.
Good to know!
The mystery writer telling stories about his life is interesting as A.J. Finn has lied so much about his own life.
Interesting.

Love the tag! I’ll tag you if I do it. 🎉
Great! Have fun for sure.
Just wanted to let you know your video kind of starts over again at about 18:00 for about 1.5 minutes, if you wanted to cut that part out.
Weird! I wonder how that happened?
They all sound good, the tainted cup sounds good.
Thanks Sheila!
