I'm from Canada! BC to be exact. The weather isn't the best, but it's the best place in the world to be, especially in times like these. I hope you are enjoying your time in Canada!
So many great tips! Agree completely on packing light. Having lived in many cities short term, I ended up wearing the same few pieces over and over and would have saved myself a lot of stress packing :)
I love your videos on this topic because I'm learning a lot! I want to move to Canada in maybe 2 or 3 years too (thanks COVID for the delay) and knowing these stuff from someone who just moved to Canada is really helpful. I really like how you mentioned the term deposit because I didn't realize that at all. I'll definitely be doing that 😍
Aww how exciting you're planning to come to Canada! Omg yes definitely look into a term deposit! It's such a game changer, I wish I did it earlier!! 😍😍
That’s so interesting! When I went to a students program in the US I’ve had the same question and couldn’t find the right video to watch. So this one is very helpful to ppl who are moving to Canada. Good job 👌
I love your videos!!! These were really good tips. I work as a recruiter and sometimes I have to give tips to employees I hire who are moving from another country. So this was really helpful!
I really like your reflection/tips on what you would do different before moving to Canada! Good tips! I think these tips can be apply to anyone moving overseas as well. I love how bubbly and sweet you are. 😊
I remember trying to access my myGov account in Ecuador’s trippy Internet and it being the worst experience 😂 there’s so much they need to fix with that site!Almost at 1000 whoooo 🥳❤️
I live in the US...and I visited Canada when I was 8. For like five minutes...lol. I want to go to Australia sooooo bad and you call that HOME?! I am so so so jealous!
I'm only just watching this now so not sure if you'll actually see my comment but I'm starting my IEC visa process soon and will be moving to Vancouver in October/November 2022. What you were saying about the amount of stuff you packed was really interesting - my partner and I were planning on bringing one large suitcase, 2 hiking bags and 1 ski bag between us, plus a carry-on each - I thought that was pretty minimal but then you said you wish you only brought a hiking bag! Do you have any videos on what you should pack?
Haha I don't have any videos on it actually, maybe I should make one! I just wish we had the mentality that we could get things when we were over there because we packed too many clothes for sure. But tbh we brought back the same amount of stuff you want to take over so I think you're good haha!
Hey! I’m not too sure which bank is currently best to go with since I’m back in Australia now. But when I got to Canada I went with BMO and they waived my fees for the first 12 months!
Omg the my gov issue 🤣😭 we had the same issue when we came back to Australia and we wanted to send across our Canadian money but we needed a code that was sent our our Canadian numbers 🤣🤣

Hahaha I wish I knew earlier! Good luck with the move!

If you make it over to Australia let me know!! 😍
Why do you want to go Australia!?
I would have thought you needed bulky clothes when packing for Canada. I learn something new everyday!
I think it’s all about layering with non bulky items!! 🥰
This was super informative! I'd love to move to Canada! Some great advice here!
Thanks gal! 😍😍
This is such great advice!
Thank you!

Hey, do you have a recommendation on what Canadian bank to go with? no monthly fees ect
Hey! I’m not too sure which bank is currently best to go with since I’m back in Australia now. But when I got to Canada I went with BMO and they waived my fees for the first 12 months!
I started with CIBC, but moved to BMO later. I prefer BMO.
Pack miminal and shop at an op shop/thrift shop. Grandma's advice

I used a company called IEP to help me secure a job and accommodation at a ski resort. I applied for the IEC visa myself :)
