I just installed the unit on my x5 and it works flawless aded a sim card and it has its own telephone number it just awsome its the best upgrade that you can make

do the steering wheel controls work when in apple car play or android auto to skip to next song?
Is this upgradable to say android 13 or whatever next updates comes and how to do those updates over the air ?
Can this boot directly into CarPlay or Android Auto on startup?

I bought this unit in January and my local BMW shop is installing it now. The Y cable you supply fell apart, and the link to the install manual doesn't work. Verizon says that the IMEI is not compatible with their network. I've emailed your tech support 4 times and left voicemail once without getting any answer. So much for "local" support!

i like these New id8 style units but can you show the day to Day use apps and functions of the car lets say steering wheel functions heather control on screen? Fm of dab radio interface when not in Apple car play. Would be great if you have a video's showing these functions i have a ccc e92

Just installed it, having trouble streaming bluetooth sound and when it does connect cant control volume. When I use the factory UI bluetooth won't connect anymore?

I installed a unit same like this on my 5 series 525, but i have no signal when i try to go to the original system, everything else works , i ordered it CIC, it came for NBT with 6 pin connector , when i opened my car i found out i have NBT HU unit with 6 pin cable, all the wires are connected , if i use the original screen with the android harness it works , so there is no problem on the optic side , i tried to change the resolution(in the resolution menu i don not have simple NBT i have EVO/NBT) , nothing happens, any idea that can help me , can the android system be set for CIC or the inside of the unit to be for CIC , but it has 6 pin for NBT?
You have CIC HU with NBT connectors ( CIC HU with COMBOX in the boot transition version 2011-2013 ) you need to set it up for CIC
are their any more skins or themes available for download 3 colours seems very limited? cheers ian
