I remember all of this kind of moments in my life. When no one believes in you. You are a joke. When no one supports you.
I practiced Here comes the Sun very heavily just to show it to my dad. So I played it to him. He was THE Beatles fan. He said it was not too good. Later he said he didn't want me to be too confident with my performance. He made a big wound on me. I was just half a man, a teenager. I never forgiven for him for that. Of course he even couldn't recall the day when it happened.
After that I always found very stressful to perform in front of people. I never could get over it and I stopped playing music for good.
Parents aren't an audience
Man that sucks. I don't understand why being supportive is so hard for some parents.
I'm truly sorry to hear that, friend. As an artist...(not musical) I think I can relate a bit. Please forgive him, if possible, and allow yourself to utilize your gifting. You have that...a gift! It is to be used and I hope you're able to pour your heart back into your music. You deserve it. Forgive and heal.... Blessings...
wonderful the way he gets interrupted by all sorts of bs. Building up the tension; you know once they Listen to the song, they will be blown away
