Seven years ago I was complaining about one side of this scam running through the DA's Office and Sheriff's Dept. when I was a Mendocino County Public Defender. Nobody wanted to do anything. That law and government system in Ukiah (the county seat and where the courts are centered) is so incestuous I left. It seems they have gotten even more brazen since I left.

It's only because the average slave has become complacent towards corruption. There are no judges and if their executioners and other agents of terrorism were killed, they'd stop. If it was their families and other accomplices, they'd be afraid just like their victims.

If a Government employee mistakenly or wantonly issues an order that is unwarranted and, it financially injures an innocent party, they need to loose their job and pay restitution. That will insure that these actions have been thoroughly evaluated prior to initiation. Yes, these cops are dirty!

It's totally amazing how where I live here in the Central valley marijuana is still against the law. The black market is thriving better than ever, and this is all done by local law enforcement and politicians to keep it in the black market. Why would that be? Could it be because they're involved heavily in the black market. Here in Fresno County the second in charge of the police department a few years back was arrested and charged with selling drugs. If the second in command of your Police department is selling drugs, you don't think it's trickling down to the lower parts of the department

I'm a constitutionalist and I believe in law and order and not defunding the police. However, things are getting weird. The police appear to be the new mob. I recently had a Moscow, Idaho city police officer (A. Smith) tell me that there is no such thing as an illegal stop. What? This officer told me all he needs to do is tell the local judge he had a scintilla of suspicion and the local judge will defer to his judgment. I said even if the judge sees your police recording that shows you clearly errored in your judgment. Officer Smith laughed and said "here in Moscow, Idaho we do things a little bit differently." Things need to change and quickly before cities actually start to defund the police. I no longer believe there are a couple of bad cops, there are many more that are aware of the injustice and are accessories to the crime like what we are seeing in California.

Because the judges that sign the warrants are paid off by cannabis corporations via corporate lawyers. This is done to take out small time growers, legal or not, because the represent their competition. This happens across all industries all the time.

They ripped me off 30k for being a victim of a home I rented to a family who grew and trashed my home in the sum of over 50k. The cops seize the house full of their weed and their money in bank accounts but when I went to collect my damages they told me I wasn't a victim. I said yes I was a victim and suffered thousands in damages. I want my money from these criminal cops.

I'm guessing that there'll be those who find this report, and the many other such, hard to believe. For you I'll offer this anecdote. A man I became friends with turned out to be a retired armed robber, and over brews one night, told us that his early 'jobs' were risky, because he couldn't control the field, which is how he went to prison, where he learnt the most important aspect of his 'profession', from an old timer, and it was simply this. Every cop is either a sadist looking for the cover of the uniform, or a crook who lacks the courage to be a 'honest' crook. The trick, he said he was told, was to learn to spot the differences. My friend went on to say that, apart from that early spell in prison, using the old guys teachings, he bought and included police in all his planning from then on, which was why he'd never even been questioned thereafter, which, in turn, was how he came to be happily retired at forty three years old. He died of a heart attack four years later, but at least he got to enjoy those years.

these dynamics were allowed to evolve and exist for decades when it was illegal. now that it's legal some officers and depts are so used to the practice that they think they can still get away with it. it's always been classic extortion. pay us and we'll look the other way. it's not just in the triangle either. there are lots of other growing hotspots throughout this country where that relationship has existed between local law enforcement and growers. hope their greed and egos continue to get them exposed.
