this looks extremely fun, but it'd honestly probably be most effective to just use the detonator/scorch shot. the scouts are faster than the pyro, so this would effectively increase their range. i imagine you could also give the enemy shell shock for the detonator noise, shortly followed by infinite bat sfx.
