This trailer did the movie no justice. I thought it was going to be a typical, predictable romcom. I was wrong. Glad I gave this movie a chance. Both Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley played very good parts - you almost forget that they are acting. This movie has a deep message and can be enjoyed by all age groups. One of the best movies to come out of 2013, overall an 8/10.
Try watching other movies produced by the studio A24 films they are called. The florida project, hereditary, the lighthouse and all brilliant especially the florida project. When acting feels like a live documentary filmed in the moment when it isn't then I'd say that is really impressive. Ex machina was also by A24 studios they are a independent to watch out for.

Sutter Keely is a common protagonist and the truest portrayal of this character study is found in this film. This movie is wise beyond its years and it's quite a shame that it's saddled with a trailer that perfectly mimics the very thing its mocking. "The Spectacular Now" is one of the greatest films to come out in the past decade- definitely check it out if you haven't seen it!
this is the most eye-opening movie i've seen in a while, specially if you are 18-22 years old and feel lost in your life, i gotta tell you, make everyday count don't waste your time!
Honestly, this is one of the best films of the decade. There is so much honesty, emotion, and truth throughout the entire film. I cared so much for these characters to the point that I wish I could have called them a few days after I saw the film to see if they were doing okay. A powerhouse of a film!
It's called no poo and it's pretty common & is actually better for your hair. Instead of shampoo and conditioner you just go into the shower once every 3-4 days (( some people go longer than that )) and you scrub your scalp with your fingers to distribute natural oils and get dirt out of your hair. You can use certain soaps for you hair which is optional and there's other methods of doing it. Just so everyone is informed.

Then I found Spectacular now but i wouldn't have seen that movie..though I didn't see movie but saw the trailer.. Then somehow I found divergent trailer in my recommendation.. This film really got to me. I cried several times, and when it ended, I threw my iPod (which I was watching it on) at the door. This is like the most emotional and one of the best films ever
When Aimee said "You're all that matters to me" to Sutter, I cried a bit, then little do I know that the whole nile river was gushing down my cheeks. Seriously Shailene Woodley should've been at least a Best Supporting Actress (or Lead) nominee last 2013; it was a grounded, honest, and effervescent performance that resonates deeply in the human heart.
This movie is really underrated I think because it shows a lot of the truth of high school relationships. That also boys go through things and struggle with feelings. It's a great movie that I think every kid and adult should watch.

I would like to think that in the ending, Aimee has another person in her life. She wasn't that timid every time she sees Sutter once they were an item, I mean sure, she was probably surprised to see him but I imagined her having someone new in her life, thus the timidness and the surprise in her face when she sees him; and I would be happy for her if she did have someone new, that girl deserves love. I just wish the movie wasn't such a cliffhanger, it really irritated me. And I have to point out how Shailene is so beautiful in this movie! Her freckles and her eyes and her amazing smile melts my heart every time.

This film really got to me. I cried several times, and when it ended, I threw my iPod (which I was watching it on) at the door. This is like the most emotional and one of the best films ever

Seriously, this is the best movie I have ever watched. It was so honest and beautiful. The actors were great. Stunned!
They were both in divergent. And Shailene and Ansel were in the fault in our stars and divergent together. Small Hollywood world.

When Aimee said "You're all that matters to me" to Sutter, I cried a bit, then little do I know that the whole nile river was gushing down my cheeks. Seriously Shailene Woodley should've been at least a Best Supporting Actress (or Lead) nominee last 2013; it was a grounded, honest, and effervescent performance that resonates deeply in the human heart.

This movie was well-acted and actually quite endearing at times, but I had trouble buying the Sutter character at times.
This movie is really underrated I think because it shows a lot of the truth of high school relationships. That also boys go through things and struggle with feelings. It's a great movie that I think every kid and adult should watch.
Watch this last night and it was amazing. Now I'm reading the book even better.

The trailer does the movie no justice with how amazing it is, the characters are so raw and realistic and full of emotion and the dialogue for the first time actually feels like what actual teens would say in real life. 10/10 a wonderful coming of age story that everyone should see.

I would like to think that in the ending, Aimee has another person in her life. She wasn't that timid every time she sees Sutter once they were an item, I mean sure, she was probably surprised to see him but I imagined her having someone new in her life, thus the timidness and the surprise in her face when she sees him; and I would be happy for her if she did have someone new, that girl deserves love. I just wish the movie wasn't such a cliffhanger, it really irritated me. And I have to point out how Shailene is so beautiful in this movie! Her freckles and her eyes and her amazing smile melts my heart every time.

Finally got to watch it tonight. Without spoliers, jesus christ wat a twist at towards the end (people who has seen the movie knows what I mean), didn't see that coming at all (neither did she, lol). Great movie overall though, directing, story, pacing and acting, huge thumbs up! :)
