That's the first time I've heard that amp get that close to clean. Must be using volume on guitar and a soft touch because it's usually breaking up no matter what. Like every single demo I've heard. I love the amp. It's in my top 3 of my wish list.
I think it’s because every other demo is dudes trying to play Page riffs. This amo has plenty of headroom but I think it’s poorly showcased in most of the videos.
I own this Amp. I have owned Many great Amps and this one is right up there with all the ones I’ve owned. Love this amp as I do my Dr. Z, Mesa, Fenders, ValveTrain, Marshall’s and on and on. Still like the Fender Reverbs better but the Supro does a really good job with These.
This sounds a little like the amp was hiding all frequencies which will cut through a mix. Is this due to the general amp design or is it down to the choic of speaker?
Great question! We have a several smaller combos that fit what you're looking for. If you prefer analog reverb on top, we'd recommend either the Delta King 10, Delta King 12, '64 Reverb, or the Amulet. If you'd prefer a more bare-bones approach, the '64 Super has no EQ controls and just a volume knob which is great to stack effects on top of. You can learn more about each on our website! www.suprousa.com/amplifier-combos/
So far Big plus for the clarity in the treble and fullness in the bass Cant compare my old blues junior in any way! (And in my opinion its a decent amp aswell) Tremolo and reverb are super nice aswell! Nice distortion through the tubes
I’ve had this amp since it was released and it’s an absolute keeper, but beware, this is a dark distorted amp, I have no idea how he gets bright cleans, don’t be fooled by this demo, It’s brilliant, but you ain’t ever getting a jangle
Well you can either use a jangley tele or danelectro or just boost the treble in the mix to get that presence so to speak. Are you recording it or just playing at home? Also what is your signal chain?
I just played a Jupiter and it is dirty from 3 on up. I heard lots of talk about clean headroom but I agree I think these Supros are too dirty for my taste. Nice just breaks up far too easily
Definitely a great amp, but it will not clean and do the sparkle cleans of a fender if you’re looking for clean reverb/trem tones. Solid great amp but not for me
Dear Supro, I love your amps, but could you please tell the people showing them to talk less and play more? (I guess hiring a different editor could also do). I hear more talking than sounds, plus I don't think I need to know an amp is "quirky" (maybe somebody else does?). No hating, just a suggestion. Looking forward to being able to afford your 1970RK
@@Panic42000 No, it's not. Technically speaking. Amp companies almost across the board refer to an amp with a cathode biased output section as "class A". That is not what defines a class A amplifier. Class A is more of an industry term.
Really digging the Supro clean tones from all of their amps, and I reeeally like having reverb on the amp. This seems like its clean tones are just as warm and smooth as the Keeley. Im really not that interested in utilizing the break up so I cant tell if this is the one for me, or if I should get the Keeley to sacrifice the amps reverb for incredible cleans. Any suggestions?
@@Supro_USA what model has the loudest clean with reverb and Trem (actually clean) I like the drive sound but need more actual headroom first. (thanks)
Happy to see the Royer used here, very honest representation of how this amp sounds! 👍🏻
This was a fantastic demo...on all levels. Lighting, talent, sound, all nailed.
Just bought one arrives Monday. I have very high expectations lol Great presentation here.
I bought this amp new a few months ago, it absolutely RULES!
You still liking it? I played a used one at guitar center the other day, thinking I’m going to get it
@@skylarcarlson7745 Yep I totally love it. There are different models. The one I have is the two channel reverb one… It’s the best.

Ya, I’ve been looking for cleaner sounds from this amp too. I think that every other person demoing the amp is just going for cranked sounds.

The clean tones on this amp are butter
I have this amp and the cleans are great, never dead clean, more complex. I've played a vintage country set with a band even, sounded great.
@@TeleCaster66 How loud can it stay clean? you using your volume knob on the guitar? I'm really itching to get this amp. I played one two weeks ago

I’m torn between a 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb vs this.
I love all of the Supro amps ! Coronado is my favorite.
I have been entranced by the tone...
I saved up and bought the Sundragon instead. I replaced a few of the tubes with different types, and it's the best amp I've ever heard.
DUDE, okay so the amp is beautiful, and we have a dealer locally who has one and I love it, but where can I get one of those Neon signs! I LOVE it!
Love it! That’s my amp!

Try the Statesman, you can dial back the volume on the effects send receive, and still keep all your crunch, tone.
I NEED IT!!!!!!!!
Is this version 2?
Hi and God bless!
Can this amp be used for blues?
Just bought one yesterday; you can use it for blues! That's what i play 90% of the time

Not an amp made that can't be used for blues

I use my tele through it and I get that jangle all day long.
Would this amp be appropriate for bedroom use?
This amp packs so much punch, you may be better off getting a Delta King if you're solely a bedroom player.
@@Supro_USA Ah, perfect answer. Delta King looks/sounds awesome, too. Thank you!
Doesn't the master volume contribute to keeping the tone intact on bedroom levels?
Yes, it has a master volume
Are these still built in the US?
Yes mate. It's just the blues King or whatever they call the cheap 8" combo that's Chinese made.
Wish they had just done it in 2x10. Thats a whole part of the sound!
1x12 is what Jimmy Page used
Where you using an attenuator?

Definitely a great amp, but it will not clean and do the sparkle cleans of a fender if you’re looking for clean reverb/trem tones. Solid great amp but not for me
distortion is fuzzy .not as good as Marshall or Orange

If your playing a SG it definitely changes the tone. It’s so easy to move the neck.
