Even if they knew him, they probably would have not followed him because he was only a Warner and not the changer of hearts. “And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise” (Quran 14:4).

As Javanesse, the drink and eating etiquette in Islam is so related to my culture 👌🏼 🔥 we just told that don't be too rush, speaking and standing or lay, eat with righthand and don't play with our food, not eat to much ect. The Japanese is also has similar culture related with Sunnah, as you can see in their tea ceremonies. I mean, we are not pig right???

I stopped following this drinking sunnah several months ago. I was just stop caring about it and thinking its just sunnah. But Hey! Here you are giving a response to those people (who never know about the beauty of sunnah) and here I am watching your response and I am ready to follow this sunnah again. Thank you brothers! All these practices are a great blessing. I don't need to think about how to do this and that, and how would it be best..I don't need to research how is the best way to drink, how to eat, how to talk, how to sleep, how to dress, and so on. Allah has already provided the methods, Alhamdulillah! What a great blessing!
Muslims don't need validation. By following the sunnah of our beloved Prophet SAW in our daily life is accurate and perfect. Those hearts will not understand if they don't ever felt the beauties of Islam. Alhamdullillah born as a Muslim and alhamdullillah not misguided to any so called isms. i was overweight after watching so many videos online, learn the term "intermediate fasting" and when I dig deep down its sunnah of our beloved prophet to fast 2 days in a week, Allah o Akbar.
This was beautiful. Thankyou. Alhumdulillah for our beloved Prophet💚💚💚As a big water drinker, I know it's bad for our health to drink big gulps, unfortunately I tend to drink fast. Alhumdulillah your video reminded me and made me take notice. I actually do this now. SubhanAllah I know now my water is staying in my body, not going straight down and out, which scientifically proven when you drink fast your body doesn't get the water. May Allah reward you all. 🤲

Subhana Allah, that even a good way of drinking water makes people loose it, walahi we are so far far lost. Thank you my brother for being such a good man.
As a doctor it's correct that one should drink water in several small gulps, rather than one quick Slurp .
Drinking quickly or drinking in large Gulps, whether you were stranded in the desert or not, has a chance of alerting ( stimulating) the 10th cranial nerve that branches through the stomach and Intestines. This never also branches in the Heart. Thus when you are tired or thirsty, dropping a large load of water in your stomach ( which is always of body temperature ) might stimulate the nerve causing the Heart to stop beating.
There have been recorded cases in medical literature that speak of people having a cardiac arrest after drinking a large sum of water quickly without intervals.
One must inform himself of the correct way of doing things first, before speaking out loud and embarrassing himself.
I've learnt so much from the man that you did the sunnah series with. May Allah bless him, such beautiful recitation and its so clear!
Ma sha Allah, brother! I loved your way of explaining the reasoning behind following our beloved Prophet (pbuh). I also sometimes had questions as to why even minute details are to be followed or recommended to be followed like drinking water or how to wash yourself after going to the rest room but I never doubted about Allah's wisdom and the wisdon he gave to our Prophet (pbuh) by the mercy of Allah. And Alhamdulillah I got my answers gradually about the wisdom behind those practices. Our lack of humility and prejudice is a big hindrance for us to be open minded and accepting the truth. Let us remember the ayah of the Quran ( 2:32) [ They said. “Glory to You! We have no knowledge except what You taught us. You, only You, are All-Knowing, All-Wise.”]. May Allah reward you immensely for your sincere efforts in pleasing Him and for following the way of our beloved Prophet (pbuh).

As a marine, I remember in bootcamp after a workout they made us sip our water instead of downing it. Also it is proven medically taking sip of water is healthier than downing to much of it.
