The armoire / pantry on the shower doors is a brilliant design. If I go with a 144" Sprinter instead of 170", that will be an essential element of the design.
How many people got super nerded out excited when George showed that swing away armoir in the shower and the other side - the pantry? Wow. I'd like to know by now how many of the "large" RV manufacturers are messaging our man George for ideas and engineering. Amazing.
If I ever win the lottery I will purchase a van from you!!! You're the best George and you just do it right!! Can't wait to see this one completely finished! Thanks & Blessings ~Sidney
It’s incredible! Brilliant design. If it wasn’t obvious that it opened you could also have secret storage for valuables at the back of one of the units that swing out. Left open could the armoire also double as a cab divider? I’ve been looking at vans where they have the cab closed off for security, privacy and insulation but there’s also a door so that you can access the cab from inside the van. One van I saw had the cab divided but the sliding door opened enough to allow for the front passenger seat to swivel.
Like the majority of RVer wannabes, I have looked at scores of van conversion videos for ideas. I personally insist on an onboard shower\toilet space for security and privacy.
I love seeing your cardboard mockups, brainstorming and problem solving as you finalize your floor plans. Way more detailed than anyone else is showing on RUclips. I’m sure it’s so helpful to people that are attempting their own builds. Can’t wait to see more. I love waking up Sunday morning knowing I’m going to see something informative, ingenious, and often fun to watch. I remember your microwave removal from your Pleasure way van video, that one was so fun to watch. Have a great week and don’t work too hard. Simultaneous builds has got to be exhausting and well as exciting. Love the T-shirt, you need to make that available to purchase.
I ❤❤❤ your videos. Esecially how you share with us your ideas and walk us through the pros and cons of each feature concept. You are educating us with every video so that we will be fully ready when we're ready to do our DIY builds.Thank you!!!
I had to re-watch (and by watch I meant savor) this video and even pause! My leftie brain is tickled pink. 🤓 Master G, this build will raise the bar on conversions, and many shall copy that shower swing closet! I was humbly thinking that waterproof oiled sail canvas might just work for the closet. I plan to have one of the outlets of my diesel heater come out low in my shower room, and a fan, and a window so that might help spare the squeege? 🤔 Thank you again for sharing your generous genius in these well-edited videos. As someone mentioned, you teaching workshops and/or having a few apprentices would be a good thing for all! 🙏😍👌
Hi George ! I think your mock ups are better looking and constructed than some industry finished products. Nice to see you at work on my Sunday morning coffee on the porch time. Carey’s are enjoying their travels in the new van. It’s nice to follow an idea to a completed van and then see it put into use. Awesome !!!

Swing out storage in the shower Wonderful I thought of that when seeing so many van dwellers take a long time unloading everything they stored in the shower stall Bravo!!
At the beginning, watching you mock up the galley cab my first thought was come on George, you're just stretching posts out now. I was wrong and ashamed I doubted you. By the time you got to illustrating the swing of the armoir, I was enthralled. When you mounted the mock frame, I was captivated by your genius. I'm not a fan of big tall shower boxes in a small van, still am not, but you've made all that otherwise wasted vertical space extremely functional. You should standardize the unit and file for a patent. Seriously, you could sell pre-fab modular kits, or at least license the design to others. Passive income. Options. As usual, your videography skills are top-notch. Loved the overlay exiting & re-entering to get screws. I notice, we notice, the art George, as well as the skill.
Carl P. - I am really impressed with your comment. I most especially like how you used George’s favorite term, ‘options’. I also concur, that George absolutely needs to consider the options you suggested. If he doesn’t, he will be robbed of all his genius innovations.

DO NOT put a microwave down low, you are constantly bending over to look and see when your food is done. In a similar fashion, a tabletop on the side of the pantry could be accessed when the pantry is swung out. If you used the swing outs to make a bigger shower, then it would be a decent sized bathroom so you would not need to slide out the toilet or use it in the living space, just swing out the two sides of the big bathroom.

@@vita-girl4345 I have 2 MaxxAir fans sitting in my living room waiting to be installed, anxious to see what he has to say... then again everyone has these fans seemingly without much issue so can't imagine whatever the issue is a deal breaker.
The two MaxxAir fans I installed in van #1 have been running now for almost one year without incident. New circuit boards are being sent out promptly. I have reached out to the company twice now still waiting for a response.

voltage issues. completely unacceptable.
@@HumbleRoad ooh, I look forward to this video/rant. I have a MaxxAir fan here waiting for my install too!
@@vita-girl4345 I have 2 MaxxAir fans sitting in my living room waiting to be installed, anxious to see what he has to say... then again everyone has these fans seemingly without much issue so can't imagine whatever the issue is a deal breaker.
more genius ideas! love the cabinet/ shower idea. great use of space! never seen anything like it!
Thanks so much! 😊
Amazing.. dude is a genius
😳😳😳😳OMGOSH GEORGE! I just purchased my MaxxAir fan after salivating for two years and slowly building out my van. Please, do tell..........😱
Ditto, I have two already installed
Carl P. Well, mine is still in the box in the living room. I’m not so anxious to install it.....🤦🏻♀️
The two MaxxAir fans I installed in van #1 have been running now for almost one year without incident. Vagabond fan ran fine for the week I tested the van, then crapped out while they were packing to leave! Subsequent research found it to be a common and widespread problem. New circuit boards are being sent out promptly. I have reached out to the company twice now still waiting for a response.
Top 1 shower solution all round the world. I really want to go USA to study from you.
WOW!!! I am so excited to see this build!!!!! Love the shower armoire idea. Dang George, why you gotta live in New Jersey???!!!!
Watching your vids I can't see ordering anyplace else. THOROUGH and THOROUGH some more you are.
Ingenious bath with closets.
Love the mock-ups! I want to do a conversion but wouldn't know where to start. All I know is I want a pull-out pantry/spice rack. Great use of space with the fold-outs.
