I've upgraded my lap belts to three point seat belts using a couple of sets out of a '76 Blazer. Wasn't perfect, but it worked great for a car seat. I'll definitely use this set when I rework the interior.
Where do you get the driver side seat belt bracket for trucks that still have the gas tank? I've seen the bracket in multiple videos, but cannot find it anywhere.
Make sure your seat (cushion) is not worn out before you install your seatbelts. You'll sit up higher in a rebuilt seat vs a tired seat.... thus affecting your mounting location on the cab wall. Also these aftermarket retractors are more sensitive than oem, requiring you to put it on slowly or it will lock up. Just my 2 cents
I have a question, what happens if you want to install shoulder seat belts into a truck that does not have the top bolt hole already in the truck? How do you go about converting the cab??
Been trying to find those bolts mentioned in the video for the seat bracket. Been on hold with Holley/brothers for 45 minutes and when you do a basic search on their website for that exact product 500 pages of shit comes up. Beyond frustrating
The side brackets are not available separately and con only be purchased in our kit. Applications are year specific, links to theses kits can be found in the video description.
I just installed this kit and it’s awesome but I just ran into a problem I need some source of extension for it, after they installed a little box with a couple of subs my buckle won’t reach all the way up now. Help please!
Hello, maybe I missed something. How did you get the hole for the upper piece? If you drilled, how did you know how far to drill the hole? Was there an adapter for the upper piece?
@@clearedhot6146 that's what I was wondering. My 66 doesn't have an upper hole and just tapping a bolt into a drilled hole is not sufficient. I do know how to achieve this but it would be better if I posted a video of my own to explain it

New one (gm stamped) . Just isn’t fitting over the new fenders . Fenders just won’t adjust in any more.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV The upper corner where the "upper piece" goes. That's where I have speakers so I thought a rivnut would be a good alternative to taking the speakers out.
@@bohdi316 Problem with that is that in the upper corner the factory placed a very large support in the pillar specifically for a seat belt to mount. Under extreme stress, like in a crash, the support won't pull through the thin sheetmetal and hopefully the driver will be restrained from flying forward. A simple Rivnut may be able to hold the belt in place, but it can't come close to the structural support the factory seat belt boss provides.

Just because you can anchor that shoulder belt to the cab doesn't mean it was engineered to take the load during an impact. Who has tested this since the factory didn't use the shoulder belt in that mounting point?
Dad loves his original 2pt belts. It is nice to not have to wear them if not feeling it w/o worrying about getting pulled over he says...I agree.
Great video, I held my breath when that ratchet came so close to the back window 😮. Brothers is a top notch company
It's really nice the all the 67-72 trucks have the upper (sholder) nut in the B piller. I've installed them in a 1968 and it was an easy job!👍

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV that's dumb. Why would you not sell the bracket separately?
Where and how do you mount the standard lap belt for the 3rd person center seat
Use the inner mounts for the LH & RH belts.
You guys don't have the buckle with the original gm logo for our years?
Yep, you're right, no original GM buckles. You basically have to find an original setr and have them re-webbed.
How do you attach the middle seat belt? Can you share bolt? Have to drill out a new hole?

So what do they look like installed.
Where can I buy the speaker enclosures that go behind the seat?
is there anything that can be done to add a belt for the 3rd person in the middle?
100%. we normally install a standard lap belt for the center seat.
Do we have to drill new holes?
