True, I got thé B7k years ago and initialy it didn't sound close to any demo on RUclips. However, when I added a booster, limiter enchancer and compressor it became Very much in line with thé online demo's.

@@ichbinblitz7129 my chain is: Ampeg Optical Compressor -Darkglass B7K - Boss odb 3 - Boss Lmb 3. Thé gain on thé odb 3 is turned all thé way to thé left so it act's like a booster.
Doesn’t that just piss you off? Guaranteed he’s running through a MIDI interface. I hate everything about MIDI mostly because it’s extremely difficult to figure out just to get it working.
Same with pro tools, which is even worse. The hell of reading manual after manual and deciphering all the technical bullshit just is not worth it.

What people don’t understand is this tone in a full band mix will sound totally different if the bass tone frequencies are clashing with the guitar frequencies.

Considering a lot of modern metal bands have this tone i guess it works out great for them

Hello Darkglass, While I can appreciate the instrument and this player’s proficiency, why is it that your demo videos ALL seem to focus on just this aggressive style of Bass playing? Of the many, many Bass player’s I’ve known for many years, most do not play this style. Are you purposefully limiting your market? Thanks!
In short, this sounds like shit.
The funny thing is that I play Jazz, Blues and classic Rock with my Alpha Omega amp. The amp has so many tones on tap it's insane. The only problem is that it takes a lot of time to get used to.
I have DG MT500 v2 and I can play everything on this amp. From "calm" music like country, blues, etc. to extreme metal. Love this amp. Btw I play mostly with my PJ precision with SD quarter pound pickups.
Because that's the style music they are market towards
Makes a nice change from the endless clean slap demos us heavier bass players have had to put up with.
