Love the concept! One change I made due to the 1.21 update was using the crafter, a comparator, and 9 redstone dust instead of the dropper into the water elevator. Be aware that Poppy's will break the system, so I've made the first row of hoppers funnel into an item shorter, the Poppy's go into a composter for bonemeal, into a crafter and up a separate water elevator, all iron ingots get funneled back through a second row of hoppers into a crafter and tossed up the water elevator as iron blocks. Hope this helps someone, and thank you Nuvola for the great content! Cheers!
@@ElijahAustin-k7j Poppy's will filter their way through the hoppers and take up a box in the crafter interface no longer allowing it to craft iron blocks like I intended. So I had to add in the item sorter to filter them out. Since I was already doing that, it just made sense to filter them into a composter for the ocassional bonemeal block. Hope this answers your question.
I LOVE this series. The concept is great. This is exactly the kind of thing I like to do in my world. The builds are good and I love the mini farms being built in (although I sometimes don't do them if I have another farm somewhere else). Every time a new one comes out I have to watch immediately and start thinking of where in my base/ village to put it.
Just made this one recently. Had some issues because of caverns and the golem not spawning in the right area so it took a little time to make the surrounding area spawn proof, but now that its operating correctly, it supplies quite a decent amount of iron quite quickly. Thanks.
Love your builds. Thank you so much. I did however notice when it came time to build the building the layout was different then how it was shown in the beginning.
I like this building also. If you build all the buildings in your village, you will have more iron than you need. But what I always add to the iron farm is an item sorter, where only the iron comes to the surface and the rest is burnt/destroyed.
Great build as allways. Its soo much nicer to make an aesthetic farm. I have a suggestion: a creeper/gunpownder farm, because ussually this kind of farm are huge and making an aesthetic version must be very hard (I didnt find any yet). Some time ago I even made your creeper farm, but doesnt work on bedrock.
man you are a great youtuber, and pls can you made like a map with all your creations just to see more details in your style thank for your amazing job
Me too half the time they don't work but on saying that, I dont need farms anyway, so no problem for me i build them but I leave out the farm bit lol Cheers 🇦🇺💡🤴🤗
I built the same iron farm from the armorer tutorial and it does work. You HAVE to make sure all the caves around it are spawn proofed tho. I placed buttons down as it was cheap.
I'm not sure about Bedrock, but they should be the same as in Java. Even if you build the beds for the iron farm only 8 blocks below the building on the surface, the villagers on the surface will not come into conflict with them as they cannot see the beds underground.
As long as you put it sufficiently far underground (atleast 8 blocks, but I'd do 20 if your willing to go a bit deeper and don't run into large caves or whatever), I see no reason why it would interfere.
I feel like in Bedrock it might. Any beds or workstations that link to a villager within 100 blocks might alter the village center, and would probably through off the spawn location. Unless they’ve changed it.
In bedrock, the "safe" distance is 100 blocks. Meaning that the nearest bed to this village (technically the iron farm becomes its own village) has to be over 99 blocks away, in all directions (including vertical) to ensure that it won't interfere or cause the villagers in the farm to incorrectly link to another bed. Also I'd suggest breeding them elsewhere (again over 99 blocks away) and transport them, 1 by 1 to the farm. I know it's a pain, but it's been the only way I've been able to ensure that they properly link to a bed and workstation. And with that said, I'd only lay one set ( bed and workstation) at a time. Let the villager link, then bring in the next one, and repeat until you have all 20.
Im having trouble where only one side is making iron golems while the other side isnt, is there a way to fix it or is it supposed to be like that. Every cave nearby is spawned proof aswell
No, because there won't be a zombie. If on peaceful mode, add 5 villagers instead of 3. Then you won't need a zombie. It's a bit less efficient, but it works!
Since the update 1.21.2 / 1.21.3 I have had a problem with my farm where no golems spawn. I've tried to reset it by changing out the villagers and zombie but with no luck :/ Has anybody else encountered anything similar after the recent update?
@ObserverMC I tried a lot of different things to make it work again. The only thing that worked was removing the zombie and allowing the villagers to sleep for a night before then adding the zombie again. I've had to do this quite a few times now. Every time the server has been empty of players basically.
Can you do an iron farm without zombies? I know it’s not as productive, but thinking it would. Put five villagers on each side instead, but everything else the same?
Make sure you spawn proofed the entire surroundings of the farm. There might be a hidden cave around that an iron golem spawned in and the farm stopped working.
As long as you put it sufficiently far underground (atleast 8 blocks, but I'd do 20 if your willing to go a bit deeper and don't run into large caves or whatever), I see no reason why it would interfere.

New to the channel and im loving it. Like how creative your builts are . Hopefully you dont have stop because i want to build them in my realm.
I changed the material a bit. And now I love it 🥰🤩
I have been waiting for the next building tutorial for the village. 🎉

You could funnel the poppies into a composter and create free bone meal!
@@mossel9213 Sure, but you have to go downstairs to get the bone meal, or have to build an item evevator (with water or dropper) to get them up

Won't the villagers/beds on the surface mess with the iron farm underground? What's the safe distance?

what are the hourly rates on this iron farm?
300-450 iron per hour if built correctly
I'm trying to build all three iron farm profession houses but how do I connect them together

No, because there won't be a zombie. If on peaceful mode, add 5 villagers instead of 3. Then you won't need a zombie. It's a bit less efficient, but it works!

Warped and crimson fence gates shouldn't burn? Normal wood fence gates (spruce, oak etc) do burn.
