My grandmother made me a trinket box 50 years ago from a 4 " piece of drafting tube ,papered it with home made decoupage glue . It had a lid that was attached with elastic and kittens decoupaged onto that paper. I'm 62 and it's still just fine !
OMG WOW Your Upcycled Altoid Tin turned out Gorgeous WOW I mean I'm in awe over what you did and how you did it and to what you did it to...OMG talk about being ever so clever and a whole lot creative....and turn trash into Fabulous Treasure!! WOW! It was so much fun watching your vision come to life and when it did was Breathtaking Spectacular!!! Your other assocted tin that you upcycled are so Absolutely Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing it all taking the time to show how you create your masterpieces. YOU so ROCK!! Joan Smith
Your tin looks lovely !! Very inspiring. I'm making an altered tin for my mother and it will be a "pocket worship tin" with religious pictures inside and a small booklet of my favorite scriptures. Thank you for your tutorial !
Too darling! People are going to be so jealous when you whip that out of your purse & they say wow where did you buy that & you say: 'Oh I made it!' Haha Good job :D
Thank you so much Tracy, I really love ❤️ you're no none sense approach. I've got one of these tins that I'm going to cover so it's so awesome to watch you doing this. So awesome ‼️‼️‼️
I have saved lots of Altoid tins and this tutorial is very helpful. I thought they had to be sanded and then painted. It is good to know that they can be covered with paper and still hold up over time. Thanks very much for sharing.
You know Tracey, when I got home tonight I had a head so and sore throat. But sat down and started watching your video. My big orange cat cuddled up to me and purred. And i felt so much better! I love this project. I wonder if you could glue a piece pearl to the lid 1st to help even out the bumps? What do you think?
Thanks for this! I've saved a bunch of these tins and knew I wanted to make something with them...but wasn't sure how to begin. Awesome. Thank you again.
Super cute! I can't believe that you didn't put stitching around your message though. :) I love this. I wonder if gift cards would fit inside? Then the person would have two gifts. A beautiful tin to keep things in and a gift card to buy something. :) Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Where do you live? I’ve never heard of Ollies… It cost me $20 for a pad of paper like that at Michael’s Craft Store..Thank you so much for putting out this video I love the results… I’ve been collecting these tins forever...Now I finally have something I can make with them! And it looks fairly simple. Thank you again for sharing!
Hello. What a good idea! I hope I will, a day, be able to make such a nice little box. You are very incredible! I like it so much. Very very cute. But just a question: will this wonderfull and cute box resist in my handbag? Nathalie.
Great video! Just what I was looking for. I’ll be making some tins for my bible study gals to include in their Christmas bag that I make each year. Instead of trimming the sides with paper I think I’ll use pretty ribbons. It’ll make the process a little less time consuming for me. Psalm 91
So very cute lov the idea of this but I'm not a good measuring person so probably won't be trying this but if I had some courage I would definitely make this💖🌞🌻
This is so cute! I had never heard of Ollie's. But found out there's one here in Jacksonville. I'm going to have to check them out. Thanks!!! Edit: I would have done a strip of green bling wrap around that last bit of the lid. ☺❣
Me gusta todo y algo puedo hacer porque miro el proceso no entiendo lo esplicado por ser yo Uruguaya y no se otros idiomas pero doy las gracias me gusta si y algo aprendo
For anyone who thinks a video is too long, YT has a speed control in the settings of the video and you can speed up playback by up to 2x. I love your videos btw, you're so pleasant and it's cute when you get excited during your crafts! I need to take your advice though of not striving for perfection and enjoying crafting. I want it to be a relaxing experience. Thank you for all your ideas and videos, very inspiring and lots of great ideas. And your videos of your family are so cute, you all seem really sweet. God bless!

Very cute box! I'm going to try this. As a suggestion for those tiny stickers, I would just tweezers.
Thank you for posting this. That is such an adorable box. I love them all. I wish pur Walmart had those heart stickers.

Hello! I don’t understand how you keep the Altoid word from showing through the paper
Me gusta todo y algo puedo hacer porque miro el proceso no entiendo lo esplicado por ser yo Uruguaya y no se otros idiomas pero doy las gracias me gusta si y algo aprendo
I use an Altoids tin for tissues.

A little less is more to your video. Less talking and length of instructions
+Norma Hernandez I love talking and teaching.❤❤❤ It's who I am!🍁✂🍁As far as length, I'm in no rush...lol
