Nope, it stays really good quality when recording/transferring vocals or the beat. If you have a track with isolated vocals you recorded, that will be what gets sent to the other person when transferring it.
Does my beat have to be in a wave format to send to the vocalist? Or can we send it as a project file to allow the vocalist to sing over the beat and I can work on everything in my DAW?
None of that matters with satellite. You’re not sending over anything. It does it for you. That’s the point. No sending files or emails or anything. Just follow the directions here and then sync it into the plugin and they have it.
Don't believe it, he said the plugins work with all the most popular DAW's, well Cakewalk is among the popular DAWS, as is Sequoia, and the plugins don't work on those, the plugins can't sync with the hosts BPM, and the BPM can not be manually added to the plugin, as it takes it's timing from the DAW.
Cakewalk is not a popular DAW. When I say Popular I mean the major DAWs like Logic, Pro-Tools, Ableton, etc… Cakewalk has a user base sure but it is not a Widely used DAW.

I've been in the music industry for over 30 years, and from all the professional recording studios I've been to throughout the UK and here in the US, I can say that more of them use Cakewalk products, but some of the really high end studios actually use sequoia, and there's no plugin for it. I use Cakewalk Sonar X3 PE edition in both my home studio and my pro studio, and have been using that for years, every since it was first Cakewalk Pro Audio 8. Oh and Cakewalk DAW's rank #16, also Cakewalk DAW is aimed at the 'install and use' type of person, instead of taking college classes on how to use DAW's like Pro Tools, Logic and Ableton Live.
