You're a delight as always, Dr. Russ. Your compassionate and non-patronizing care for a pregnant woman gives me hope for sexism in the medical and health/wellness field improving.
I’m still so perplexed at the pressure and minimal work that you have to apply to make change to fascia. I love this so much. Thank you for the great videos.
While I appreciate the focus on helping pregnant women with discomfort, it’s essential that treatments like myofascial work are supported by solid, peer-reviewed evidence. Chronic pain, particularly in pregnancy, is a serious issue that demands proven medical solutions. While anecdotal success stories can be compelling, they should not replace scientific validation. There’s a reason why evidence-based medicine is the standard in healthcare-to ensure treatments are safe and effective across the board, not just for a few individuals. It would be more reassuring to see these practices grounded in more rigorous research.
THE KING HAS RETURNED!!!! it's always interesting seeing these done with pregnant women, i would never have thought it would be allowed that far along

Do you ever work on patients with extensive spinal fusion? That’d be interesting to see as someone who is fused from T4 to L3
Hi there, yes I have worked with just a few patients with extensive fusions. The work has been helpful in alleviating some of the pain.
#bodywork for folks with spinal fusions. Yes.
