How to Build: Greek Temples in Minecraft! By an Architecture Student

This tutorial for a Greek Temple focuses on how they were actually made in Ancient Greece and translated into Minecraft. This tutorial isn't a block-by-block tutorial (although it can be followed that way), the video is meant to give an outline so you can recreate your own Greek temples. This is not the same as a Roman Temple btw

Love the actual lesson on how Greek temples were laid out. The only thing is the 'cella' is the Roman name for that room. The Greek name is 'naos'.

Currently doing this in survival… made it 8 by 13 instead of 6 by 13 and Jesus, the amount of quartz I’m gonna need is starting to make me regret it, but it looks great and it’ll keep me busy I guess 😂 great build mate, thanks for the tutorial

Im trying to do another tutorial that is 64x47....in survival....with the pillars and roof I will need something like 150 stack of quartz block...maybe more. Might do this one instead

I realised it would be WAY too big so I ended up doing this one in survival. Long enough so you appreciate it when its done but still enjoyable, not too hard

I’m building a mega base Greek temple that is about 30 by 40. Play on realm. Set up a big bartering farm, trade with villagers for quartz and mine a ton of quartz

For the lighting, you could add a light source behind the ceiling slabs because light will go through it but you cant see the lightsource

Amazing tutorial I chose to use 6x10 which I think was a batter choice so everything fit inside perfect without it poooking to long and a glass ceiling
