    And most don't realize that those few fps will come as everything meshes together...just like horsepower on a new engine build!
    Anything rebuild right has to be broke in for optimal performance!
    Great video Paul

      That's it. Just a little bit of shooting to bring things where they need to be.

    Excellent info. It is shocking how many commenters and even creators say and show things with authority that make no sense from machinist or engineering viewpoint. Yet they call others purist, close minded, or greedy because they lack insight. Wish you were able to make more videos.

    Another very interesting video Paul, not seen another on pre setting of the main spring read about it but to see it in action is an eye opener.

      Thanks! After uploading I thought of two or three things I didn't mention. The main thing I wanted to convey was the inside diameter growth with compression. I plan on doing a couple of more.

    Thanks for the informative video Pall, Many of the things you show I have herd talked about but to see them helps the understanding of what it all means and how they affect the firing cycle.
    With Malvern show being canceled this year, I very much missed being able to visit with you and your wife.
    Great choices of music on the intro and exit of your videos, nice soothing and relaxing, while enjoying some great airgun pictures.

      @@PaulWattsSpringGunning thank you very much, yes and truth it was all built by me and my brother, the walls are lined with the doors of a building, the idea is to do a lot with little,to be perfect, it was to have my carbines tuned for you.

    Always nice to get a glimpse inside the shop and glean some understanding. You're getting pretty good at producing those videos. Clear audio & good shot angles👍
    Nice side-lever Diana's in your slideshow🤩. Do you recommend a caliber for bench rested target shooting a full power 52/56? I hear .20 is a good compromise for trajectory and bucking wind at distance.

    • @PaulWattsSpringGunning
      @PaulWattsSpringGunning  4 года назад +2

      Thanks! Audio is a problem in a noisy shop. I had to turn everything off in the shop. Even the AC upstairs. If I don't the microphone amplifies it if I quit talking. Sometimes there is no way of getting around it without upgrading software or equipment.
      On that rifle/rifles I prefer larger calibers. That's my flavor of ice cream anyway. You may like something different. Best to get all of them. ;-)

    Love watching your videos Paul, I bet Your Rifles can match or even be better than the Sandwell Field Sports Models that Tony tunes over in the UK, How does one go about getting one of your Rifles ?...greetings from South Africa

    • @PaulWattsSpringGunning
      @PaulWattsSpringGunning  4 года назад +2

      There is always six to half a dozen ways to achieve almost the same results.
      Everyone has their own way of doing things. I try real hard to not make any direct contrast between what I do and someone else. To be honest I don't know what others are offering or doing. Over the years I've learned to do my own thing and try and do it the best I can. The guy that sells himself as the best or better than is usually relying on that to cover their own shortcomings. I just don't want to go there.
      I've never had anyone try and import anything I've done to South Africa. I know there are companies that will most likely do it for you but you would need to find them in your country and get the specifics from them. Others have used courier services out of the US but I've never been involved. I've just sent the packages to their US address and they took it from there. I hope to have some ready before the end of the year provided life doesn't throw me any curve balls.
      Many Thanks, Paul
