You're a marathon finisher! 🎉
Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I know! I still can't believe it 🥹
Good Luck! Will be rooting for you!
Thank you 😊
Good luck Yuenny! I hope you have a great day tomorrow
Thank you 😊
Hi Yuenny, just came across your channel :) Best of luck for this weekend in Manchester, I hope you'll have a great race and an awesome first marathon experience! I have yet to give this distance a go lol
Hi. Thank you for watching and leaving a lovely comment 😊 I'll do my best and see how far I get. With the recent running injuries I'm not confident I can make it the whole way round but I will try 🤞 Hope you'll decide to run your first Marathon at some point. I've never realised how much time it takes up though but it'll be worth it 😁
Best of luck Yuenny!
Thank you 😊
Good luck and enjoy!!
Thank you! 😊
Good luck this weekend!
Thank you 😊
best of luck for the marathon. I agree totally with your walk/run strategy....worked for me more than once
Seems to be a good method. I didn't even feel tired after the 5K and I ran it in exactly the same time as I did on Sunday going for a very slow easy run 😊
Best of luck for the marathon. Hope it all goes well on the day and you get to enjoy it. Thank you for letting us join you on your journey it's been really interesting following your training - I'm a couple of weeks behind you with a marathon at the end of April.
Thank you for following my journey 😊 I'm sure there will be plenty more to come in the future. I've learnt so much already. Which Marathon is it you're running? Hope your training is going well? Best of luck!!
Good Luck Yuenny, I've loved following your videos. I just started running last year and ran my first Half Marathon at the Colchester Half about a month ago now, having never expected to do it. My goal for 2025 will be to run a full marathon. Your journey has been an inspiration, all the best and I look forward to seeing how you get on and where you go on to from here.
Huge congratulations for running your first ever Half Marathon! 👏 That's amazing and a really long distance considering you only started running last year. I only ran my first Half Marathon last year and thought it was an unachievable distance at one point. It's fascinating how we can believe in something and make it happen 😊 Thank you for following my journey. It's been tough, emotional and painful at times, but I really want to succeed. Even if it's not this time, I WILL complete a Marathon one day 🤞
Good Luck Yuenny. Hope you have a fantastic day. Sunday is all about you, no one else. Run/walk strategy sounds like an excellent idea, and as you say is a great distraction. Try not to put yourself under additional pressure by chasing a time. You will get a PB on Sunday regardless. You only get one chance to run your first marathon. Just enjoy. There are plenty of other opportunities to chase a time if that's what you want to do. You can do it. 👍
Thank you 😊 My first goal is get to the start line and then second goal is just to finish. It'll be a good benchmark to set myself, even if I don't finish I still know what distance I have to beat next time 😁 It is all about me and I will make it very memorable. Thank you so much for following me along and all the lovely comments 😊
Best of Luck! Lets hope its not too windy!
Thank you. Hopefully not! It would make it so much harder 🤞
Best of luck!
Thank you 😊
I wish you the very best of luck during the marathon. You'll do great! I hope your enjoy the experience =D
Thank you 😊 I will try to enjoy the day as well and do my best!
Well done Yuenny ❤ now I don’t mean this to come over wrong but more as I care, runners care for runners ❤. You need to get all the niggles and pains checked by specialist running physio, they should be able to analyse everything, video you bio mechanical movement not just foot strike, I expect the lower calf is soleus and neck and and shoulders is tension coming from lower down. You did it 🎉 but next time you will be better prepared with zero pains… when get fixed and do S+C work start by doing some 10k races then move to half’s and then when complete those with ease move onto marathons. Awesome 🙌 well done, we all love ya ❤
Thank you. You're very kind to care about my wellbeing. I really appreciate it 😊 I haven't run since the Marathon and I have an appointment with a Physio this Saturday so hopefully I'll get myself better and be healed for future events 🤞
Yes Yuenny back on track , getting round is the goal once you’ve made it to the start line, run , run walk doesn’t matter it’s how comfortable you feel, remember the end goal and how far you’ve come , fingers crossed it goes well , stay positive 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you. I will do my absolute best to make it around, hopefully without causing too much damage in the process 🤞 I'll stay positive and smile 😁
Good luck but also take care 🤘🏼
Thank you 😊
Sports bra recommendation!!!
Pebe. Life changing. I'm a 28F and find it quite demotivating when my girls bounce. I found pebe at the national running show and have been recommending them to everyone I know.
Expensive but worth it
Thank you for the information. I'm struggling to pick which brand to go with and like you said, they can be really expensive, so I want to be confident it'll be money well spent. My current "sports" bras aren't that great so I do really need to invest in some good ones. I'll look them up 😊
3 days. Getting real now.
I know! And I don't feel ready at all 😬
@@YuennyLam don't worry, i'm not ready either. I probably need another 3 weeks of training to feel properly ready.
@@J_bixby If I didn't have all those injuries I think I'd feel more ready. I'll just have to see I guess 🤞
just relax.. I know you can do it..
I will do my best 💪🏼 Thank you!
@@YuennyLam 💪🏼👌🏼👍🏼
Did you get to the root of the foot pain? maybe I missed one of your videos that explained the issue. Enjoy your race.
Not yet. I couldn't get an appointment with a Physio until the week after the Marathon, but I don't want to just give up not knowing what the issue is. So I'll have asses on the day and see how far I get 🤞 Thank you!
@@YuennyLam have a great day on Sunday. Hopefully the pain stays away. After this one need to get the pain sorted ✔️
Yup I have a Physio appointment the following Saturday. Hopefully the pain stays away long enough for me on Sunday 🤞
Have a great Manchester Marathon, Yuenny! Enjoy it and know we all wish you the very best.
Thank you 😊
