This specific woman’s story is a bit odd as she basically says that Jesus told her that everyone’s going to heaven regardless of their beliefs. She’s given a lot of interviews and her story was even featured on that new movie that was in the theatres “After Death” and A TON of believers have taken issue with some of the very unbiblical statements this woman, Mary, has said. I have heard a few after death experiences that I think are probably credible but this woman’s story, and her statements that God supposedly made clear to her about who gets to go to heaven are scripturally wrong.

If you think God says something to you but it goes against His Word - especially something as major as the Gospel narrative found throughout the whole of Scripture- then you can know that wasn’t God speaking to you. For we know that even Satan can come as an angel of light and that he has deceived many ppl throughout all of history into believing that they’re hearing a message from God when it’s not. One of the ways to test this is to always line up what was said to the written, revealed Word of God.

They do not stay in that nde /tunnel of light long enough to see what happens next. What can follow after this is darkness. Every person still needs to stand before God, before judgment. 12:08 Ruslan, thanks for all you do for the Kingdom!
The quote “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” is a common misquote of scripture. The verse this tries to quote or interpret is 2 Corinthians 5:8 which says “Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.” - ESV.
But when you read this verse in context of the whole chapter, you’ll see that there are 3 places or “dwellings”, where Paul only mentions 2 in the verse quoted. And he does not say that to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord, he just says that he would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
It’s like if I said I would rather be away from my house and present at church. This doesn’t mean there are only two places I can be unless you read the context around that sentence.
But like you said, the idea of the intermediate state is a less common view these days. I believe one of the main reasons it is a minority view is because the popularity of the mis-quote “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”.
This might be worth making a video on. I’ll have one made soon but you have a much larger following.

I don’t know people. To me nde sounds like a good way to earn money, even dough I believe in the phenomenon. But is it the brain talking or is the experience exactly what it seems be.
A specially the story of foreseeing your own death at young age. Doesn’t sound like my God.
But I truly don’t know, as a Christian. For me, I leave it to rest.

There is also the belief when it comes to near death experiences that for those who are not in Christ much of the time what they’re experiencing is a deception from the enemy. It is because the enemy knows that they’re not going to permanently die here and they will be brought back, so they will cause an experience to make the non-believer think that they are going to heaven, and that they’re having an experience tailor made to-whatever their beliefs are thus solidifying them in those beliefs. There are also many atheist, who have died and had such an afterlife experience, where they came back and started teaching new age mysticism. There’s some people who weren’t believers and started to have this type of experience but when the near death experience kept progressing, the people who they thought were in heaven, with them started to morph into demons and revealed the truth.
On another note, I have always found it strange when believers in Christ have an issue with talking about near death experiences and just dismiss them out of hand. Do we not believe in a supernatural God do we not believing in heaven and hell? Last time I checked, we do so we should in fact expect For these type of things to take place upon death I hope all of you guys and girls have a blessed day in the Lord

I honestly don’t have any doubts that that has happened though there could be some that are faked but even if one of them was actual then it’s true that God/Heaven exists. The ones that might be even more believable are the ones where they don’t necessarily go to Heaven, but have outer body experiences where they go around the place and watch and listen to what people say and do and then are brought back into their body and tell of what they saw and heard even though they are hooked up to the monitors which show the person was clinically dead.

I have a memory that I've had my entire life. And I feel like I either got to see heaven as a child or before my birth. I even consider that I might have died as a child and been reborn. Because the memory is of getting a coat and leaving for a journey. Then I'm in heaven and it's the whitest white. And I saw where babies came from. They get taken down a stairway to earth. Someone was showing me all this. Then I was told it was my turn to go.
They sequence of my memories....I think I was taken somewhere and died. Then reborn. But I'll know the truth sometime in heaven!

I don’t understand why people are shocked or in unbelief about NDE testimonies because Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). Jesus resurrected Lazarus from the dead so He can also resurrect anyone else. Our God has no limits and has let people have these NDE testimonies to share in these last days for hope.

12:35 John Burke addresses this specifically and he counters with the fact that many of these people were clinically dead, no activity in the brain.
He also addresses most of the common questions skeptics have like whether the NDEs are hallucinations, if cultural or religious bias plays a part, etc.

These ndes aren't the only reason i came back to Christ, but they certainly had a lot to do with it. Ive been studying ndes for at least two years and there is definitely something up. These ndes seem to point to the fact that our consciousness is not made in the brain or necessarily reside in the brian. Which is a hotly debated topic among scientists rn. One of my favorite lines ive heard the pastor use on many occasions is," Its the same loving God who has revealed himself throughout history." As a follower of Jesus, i am very open-minded. I am leaning towards these ndes being true and very real.

I died and went to hell and called out for Jesus and was pulled out of hell immediately. Then I died again and went up above the earth and saw the universe. God said to me don't worry you are going back. Not chemicals. When you die you move from flesh to spirit (inter demensionally)and you are awake and aware the whole time. I have a longer story but for the sake of not writing my own book here on chat I kept it extremely short. It is the most incredible experience I have ever had and it changed my life forever because I was given a second chance. I was not Christian, I am now.

Everyone’s NDE is so different. Heaven is different. Jesus is different. Hard to believe NDE’s when there is no consistency. Many claim Jesus told them prophetic messages that do not come to pass. God can do what he wants. I can’t prove NDE’s are false but I am not optimistic in their legitimacy. I really don’t want to be in a car crash or something tragic to find out though. 😂

I would suggest reading or watching that full interview as he explains a lot about their commonalities and differences! He touches on the scientific worldview of it and how it doesn’t take into account other factors such as out of body experiences, which all of them have! People can definitely misinterpret their own NDEs based on their worldview if they’re not careful! I believe with 100% certainty that it’s real based on the evidence these scientists have found with thousands of patient’s testimonies. Makes it even more credible when the patients don’t know each other and yet experience strong similarities, despite religious backgrounds and some report seeing Jesus
