I’m one of the chefs that will be on the American Jazz for the beginning of the cruise season. I also worked on the American song, American consolation and the Queen of the Mississippi last season it’s a great company great ships

We were not offered that option. So I am not sure.

We have no idea, perhaps there is a video out there. Maybe you can message Jonathan, who was a chef on 1 of the ships... he commented on this post.
For a ship that new I would think it would be a bit more modern looking. It looks like the 1990s!!
We agree. The service was amazing the space on the ship was amazing but the decor was very depressing but not as nice as shown in the advertisements.

We were definitely disappointed in the décor. The colors and furniture had that assisted living vibe. Not all of their ships have this look but unfortunately the brochure made it look like the rooms were much more modern. We were very upset that even though our room had the space we anticipated, we felt like we had been tricked with a bait and switch photo. We think they are forgetting that, even though they cater to an older crowd, that crowd is still very active and vital and living at home. No one wants to spend that kind of money for a vacation that makes them feel like they're in a retirement home.We hear a lot of fellow passengers complain. However, because they cater to people that may have mobility issues the space on the ship is amazing and completely accessible. The service was top knotch from the crew to staff to officers. The food was D+ to B+ but they definitely made adjustments according to comments and needs. They adjusted the activities according to comments as the cruise went on which was amazing. And the choice of shore excursions met everyone's expectations and needs.
Fine…stay home!

The ship was brand new when we made the video, but the decor could have been more up to date with the times.
