The layout has two main launches, a mid-course brake run (where rumored spinning may start), and two boosts that are in places where valleys may occur and are needed. They do not speed up the train but instead keep it at a consistent speed in these two areas (After the MCBR, & after the Stall). In the case of a full MCBR stop or barely cresting the Stall, the boost(s) would kick in harder to compensate for this. Launch 2 also acts as a block and utilizes a swing launch to restart and head up the hill.
There are areas where the track may go a different height and in turn have a different element shape, as it is hard to get a perfect layout from the plans.
Buildings are a placeholder and theming is unknown.

If they add those racing car sounds, it would be an adrenaline rush. This is what a Fast And Furious ride is supposed to represent. Speed and thrills. I'm really excited about what my park plans for the foreseeable future.

They could have done so much with that ride! 4d glasses arent even there anymore & could have cars instead of the busses & as if the riders are actully in F&F cars too so much more they could have done to improve it @@coreybrunk2659

Because universal Hollywood does not have much room to expand or the use the few spots they have on horrible Mario kart and yoshi rides instead of the donkey Kong one or another Harry Potter ride.
That coaster interacts with the terrain amazingly. Love seeing coasters like this

Loved the layout! I’ve been really impressed with the timing, and speed of the track, not to forget to mention the theme around it is amazing as well. I loved this concept so much and if I ever got to ride it I would! Keep up the amazing work:)

It could be better. If this is supposed to be a F&F rollercoaster, it was a massive missed opportunity to not have it go through a building. It would have been awesome to have it go through a glass hallway in the middle of a restaurant or gift shop.

So this is an awesome visualization! The only aspect that can’t be captured is that I’m sure being a “drifting” coaster the cars will rotate like the F&F cars in the films
So it will be similar Cosmic Rewind over at EPCOT but with inversions? The sideward movements are really great.
@@gissneric when this coasters concept art first came out it featured intamins multidimensional controlled spinning trains, and this layout really does line up with a spinning coaster layout, so personally I’m 99.99999% sure they are still planning on making it spin, very similarly to cosmic rewind 👍

Layout for the coaster and the elements on the track look fun, and I love how it goes over and under the escalators to the lower area. Whoever thought of that had a great idea!

Here's an in-depth analysis of this coaster if anyone wants it: Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift has an extremely good layout. The only thing that could make it perfect is a top hat, but besides that fact, this is basically a perfect coaster. This has a very high chance of being better than velocicoaster, and velocicoaster is the most perfect coaster that a coaster can possibly be. The first launch has the potential to launch up to 60 miles per hour from the first launch, which is crazy for a first launch. The first half is full of extreme airtime, a nice floater drop and the first corkscrew will give really good hang time. The stengal drop after the mid-course will give crazy lateral ejector, followed by a nice floater drop, which will make this a very nice double down, leading into the second launch, and will be extra good due to the speed going into this element. The second launch into the dive drop will also give really good floater, and the inverted drop will be like no other in the world. The third launch will give crazy ejector due to the high speed of 73 mph and the ejector hill right after the launch. The stall will likely be better than velocicoasters stall due to the high speed and the stall being snappy and drawn out at the same time, while velocicoasters stall is just snappy, not very drawn out. The third launch is important to make the finale even better. The off-axis airtime hill into the Jr. dive loop will give insane lateral ejector, like a combination of the off-axis airtime hill on velocicoaster mixed with the high-five element on west coast racers, while going over 70 mph, which should make for one of the best ejector airtime moments in the world, and a highlight on this coaster. The Jr. dive loop will look insane going over the escalators, and I can't wait to see how it will look. The positive G's at the bottom of the Jr. dive loop will add some intensity to this element. The 4th corkscrew will be absolutely insane due to the speed, snappy transition, and smoothness going through it which will make for a definite highlight of the ride and a great finale. The high speed final ejector airtime hill will have an extreme ejector airtime pop to make for a great high speed end to this amazing ride. It may not have a top hat or a heart line roll but it has some crazy elements to make for an AMAZING layout and ride experience. We only have a couple Intamins here, and for it to be a quad-launch blitz is just crazy. We've never had a rollercoaster of the scale here in Cali. I'm excited to see all the smiles before, during, and after the ride. Hope to see you here in California when this opens!

The one thing that may put it over the top of Velocicoaster is the drifting mechanic. The forces you'll be feeling on this new coaster are going to be unlike anything ever felt before. It'll be interesting to see which Universal coaster will be considered the best between this, Velocicoaster, and even Starfall Racers.

Can we please get this to replace our FF ride in Orlando please. Actually if they could use the building and screens in place in Orlando for a beginning show scene and launch into this that would be even better, but the existing ride needs to go.
The only problem is that Florida doesn’t have the terrain for it. This one is built around the hill side.
It’s honestly sad that the KONG ride is the same setup, yet it somehow feels more rewarding to ride in

@@beerfish109nothing official but universal has tested screaming sounds coming from the plot of land to make it so that people aren’t screaming in the direction of the studios. This would imply and realistically speaking the cars would have to at least point in certain directions as to not mess with the sound mixing of movies being filmed.
