This song provides a catharsis that I feel like I've been needing for a long time.
All I can think about are the loves I've lost (or, perhaps better said, were never mine to fall for in the first place), the friendships that haven't stood the test of time for whatever reason, and the opportunities for success that I feel I've let slip through my fingers.
I hope my life isn't actually anywhere near as bad as I feel like it is right now.

I first heard a snippet of this song in that Saturday Night Live sketch and found the whole thing immediately. The song is so special. And you played it amazingly.
What a great cover. Certainly not easy to play. Imogen is kind of "freestyle" with tempo and stops in this song. It's a very unique and touching theme I always come back to and listen. In this interpretation on the piano this masterpiece brings a moment of "deceleration" for the mind and heart. So glad I found this. Many greetings from Germany and peace to all!

Its amazing how the way you play it makes it feel like an entirely different but completely complimentary song. It feels like if its an old story you heard a hundred times but this time told from the perspective of someone else who was there. It makes me imagine if Journey somehow leapt forward in time, heard Imogen Heap, thought it was great and went back in time to play it on Piano. Absolutely beautiful!!
