All of the characters at the end are perfect, but I feel like Sakuya would be a MUCH better representation of Spy. She carries around a pocket watch, uses knives as her main attack, and is incredibly sneaky.
I know it's scarcely relevant, but to this day I'm still astounded by how overflowing with personality TF2 is. I can watch a video where all the characters are replaced with touhou girls that I know nothing about, and yet the charm of the Demoman is still able to shine in the same way it did in the original. Seeing all these hero shooters coming out nowadays really drives this home. The amount of personality TF2 could cram into 8 white males and one black Scottish cyclops absolutely wipes the floor with games like Overwatch and Valorant, who are focused primarily on where their characters are from and what they look like, rather than who they are.
So true, tf2 characters definitely gives you a feeling of wanting to play them based on their personality or backstory as compared to which is "ThE mEtA".
Favourite part: the P powerup casually bouncing off her head, as well as that gag's reliance on ANOTHER running joke that Touhou creators consistently transcribe TF2 gibbing as P squares.

Team fortress 2 limit to 9 characters only...but a good modder can say "fuck it and let's make it 18" [with good scripting knowledge, we can make it happen] and then...you have Team Fortress 2 Classic (a source mod that is a recreation of the 2008 TF2 game...with added tweaks) which adds a 10th character (the civilian)....a great modder can add up to 40 touhou character in that, as it also add 2 new teams as well!
So far we have the full red team (seen in the poster and in different episodes as background characters) Cirno is the scout, Marisa is the soldier, Mokou is the pyro, Mamizou is the spy, Reisen is the sniper, Suika is the demo(wo)man, Eirin is the medic, Utsuho is the heavy and Nitori is the engineer. The blue team isn’t as fleshed out, but to their limited appearances, but from what I’ve seen: Meiling is the soldier, Flandre is the pyro, Sakuya is the spy, Yuugi is the demo, Sanae is the medic, Yuyuko is the heavy and Alice is the engineer. They don’t have a confirmed scout or sniper. My opinion is that Aya could be their scout. I’m not sure about their sniper.
So as of now: On one team. Cirno as Scout Marisa as Soldier Mokou as Pyro Suika as Demoman Reiuji (Okuu) as Heavy Nitori as Engineer Eirin as Medic Reisen as Sniper and Mamizou as Spy And on the other team: Meiling as Solider Flandre as Pyro Yuugi as Demoman Yuyuko as Heavy Alice as Engineer Sanae as Medic Momiji as Sniper and Sakuya as Spy.
