Amazing the ball still went slow enough to be affected by the Earth's gravity and not escape the solar system. Unless it did and it overflowed the ball's position variable, letting it end up right where it started.
It flew into the Barrier and wrapped around. Which is pretty smart, really, because the Barrier isn't like a solid wall, it's more like a strange phenomenon that turns you around so you end up where you started.

It's described as "non-Euclidean" where you encounter the same landmarks (so in a way you do loop, just not from one side to the other). Nice inspiration and good ideas everywhere. Each scene is a good catch with that well used music and pretty animation. Possibly one of the nicest Western MMD I've seen. Next time, working on shading (ExcellentShadow+an SSAO effect) for stages or backgrounds will be even nicer, depending on how powerful is the GPU.
This was one of the first Touhou videos I ever watched, and I love it to this day! Suika is just too cute to handle, and the models used for all the characters (Reimu eapecially) are some of my favorites.

Sanae wanting that ball back because it was signed was so close to being a Sandlot reference, just a bit of dialogue change and having her be a bit more panicky over it and we're gold.
There's nothing about this video I don't love. The animations are smooth with subtle, fluid movements. The character models look fantastic, with Marisa and Sanae in particular both having strong hints of the original character portraits (without being... you know...). And the story is original, character appropriate, and FUNNY. I laugh every time I watch this. This could very well be the best Touhou MMD I've seen.

Yeah, I use them, but not at full transparency because it felt a bit weird, I use Hg_SSAO. I'm still trying to find a good balance.

外国の方の二次創作とは興味深いですねー。それにみんなモデルが可愛いです。ストーリーもテンポよく面白く、穏やかな時間を過ごせました！ 一応自分の手に負える範囲で訳してみたのですが、いかがでしょうか？
以下、多大なネタバレ要素を含んでおります。あとキャラの性格に合わせてだいぶ意訳しましたm(_ _)m
博麗神社の居間で仰向けになっているのは大の酒好きにして酒豪の伊吹萃香。昼間から呑んだくれて寝ているのだろうか。
そこに何かを強打するような乾いた音が響き、萃香は目を覚まして身体を起こすと、首を横に向ける。外では緑の巫女服の少女、東風谷早苗が何かをしていた。
一方、博麗神社入口の階段に座る紅白巫女、博麗霊夢は昼間から自分の神社の前で遊ぶ二人の少女をだるそうに眺めている。
彼女の前に広がる庭には、二人の少女。
普通の魔法使いの霧雨魔理沙と、職業敵(ライバル)の早苗が千本ノックのような遊びをしていた。
その時、魔理沙が投げたボールを早苗が打ち返し、魔理沙が拾いに走っていく。
二人の様子を眺めていると、不意に背後から抑えつけるような重量がかかる。見ると、萃香がニコニコしながら霊夢の背中に全体重を預けて寄りかかっていた。
「あんた、自分が何やってるかわかってんの？」
「楽しそうだね」
霊夢は軽く威圧するが、萃香は目の前で繰り広げられる光景にしか興味がないらしく、まるで聞いていない。
「あぁ、あれ？ あいつら、アンタが起きる前に来て、一緒に遊ぼうって言ってきたのよ。なんでも外の世界かなんかからきたスポーツなんだって。それと、どきなさい。ちょっと重いのよアンタ」
さすがに萃香も霊夢の機嫌を察したか、しかし突き飛ばすような雑な動作で霊夢から離れる。
そこで、額に手をかざしボールの行方を見ていた早苗が口を開いた。
「霊夢さんの言った通りです。この遊びを正しくやるには、もう少し沢山の人数が必要ですね」
帰ってきた魔理沙が投げたボールを再び打ち返し、バットを肩に担いで続ける。
「霊夢さん、あなたはどうしますか？ 試してみますか？」
早苗はこちらに向けてバットを振るが、霊夢は手を振って拒否する。
「いいや、私はパス。こんなに暑くちゃやる気も出ないっての」
そのまま後ろに倒れ込み、続ける。
「どうぞ遠慮なく続けて」
「霊夢さん、あなたは一日中怠けたままではいられませんよ。もっとやる気を出さないと！ あ……ッ」
最後の一言と共にバットを振り抜いたところで、早苗は小さく声を上げる。ボールは神社を囲む林の方に吸い込まれていってしまった。
「ごめんなさい、魔理沙さん」
早苗が謝意を示すべく手を振ると、白黒の魔法使いの少女は問題ない、とばかりに手を軽く振り返してボールが飛んでいった方角へ走っていった。
「あんまり遠くに行き過ぎていないと良いんですが……」
早苗が心配していると、不意に袖が引かれる。見ると萃香がこちらを見上げていた。
「ねぇ、私もやっていいかな？」
「もちろんです！」
自分を指差す萃香の質問に即答し、早苗はバットを差し出す。
萃香は渡されたバットを眺めていたかと思うや、左手に持っていたそれを軽く振ってみる。
束の間、彼女を中心に突風が吹き荒れた。
「おおー、良い武器じゃないかコレ！」
鬼の少女の乱暴な発言に、早苗は困り顔で笑う。
「あの、いま、それは戦う為のものじゃないんですけど！ とにかく、貴女にはしなければならないことがあります」
早苗は萃香の小さな肩に手を置き、説明を始める。
「もう二、三秒で魔理沙さんが帰ってきそうです。彼女がボールを投げたら、すぐに貴女はできるだけ強くそれを打つのです！」
しかし、萃香は意外そうに応えた。
「できるだけ強く？ それは確かか？」
「もちろんです。心配いりません！ 彼女が最初の挑戦で打てる可能性はいかほどでしょうね？」
「おおおぉぉい！」
その時、遠くから叫び声がした。
「魔理沙さんが戻ってきました」
早苗は萃香から少し距離を取る。
「楽しんでくださいね、萃香さん！」
萃香は少し思案した後、早苗がやっていたように構える。
「こんな感じかい？」
勢いよく走ってきた魔理沙は、靴跡を引きながら立ち止まり、ボールを投げる。そこで彼女の顔から血の気が引いた。
「萃香、だと……⁉︎」
しかしボールは投げられてしまった後。もうどうしようもない。
萃香が、早苗に言われた通り全力でバットをフルスイング。ボールがそれに触れた瞬間、魔理沙の脇を恐ろしい勢いで一直線にかすめ飛んでいった。
「はははは、これ楽しいなぁ！ なぁ、もう一回やっていいか？ なぁ？」
萃香はケタケタとひとしきり笑うと、驚愕に青ざめながら立ちすくむ早苗の袖を引っ張る。
「できません。だってあれ、私たちの唯一のボールだったんです」
「えええぇぇ？ つまらないなぁ」
「あのボール、どこに落ちたんでしょう……？」
早苗が呆然と呟いていたその頃、萃香の驚異的なパワーで撃ち出されたボールは山を揺らし空を切り、森を切り裂いて果ては宇宙空間にまで達していた。
ため息をつく早苗の肩に、魔理沙が手をのせる。
「ほら、元気出せよ！ そんなに遠くまで行くはずないって。
それとお前、あれがとんでもないショットだってわからなきゃ駄目だぜ？」
「うう〜」
魔理沙に指摘され、萃香が唸る。
「そんで、お前はどうしたい？ 私たち、探さなきゃ駄目か？」
その質問に、早苗は眉を八の字にしながらも答えた。
「取り戻したいです。あれには、サインが……」
早苗はそこで不意に言葉を切ると、真剣な表情であさっての方向を見る。
「──あれ聞こえますか？」
「あぁ。何かがすごく速く向かってきているような──」
魔理沙の言葉が終わらないうちに地響きが始まる。──直後、何かが超高速で大音声と共に博麗神社に突き刺さった。衝撃で石灯篭が倒れ、盛大な白煙を巻き上げながらすべての戸が崩れ落ちる。
魔理沙と早苗が恐怖に凍りつく中、吹き飛んでいたふすま二枚が一拍遅れて二人の背後に落下する音がした。
「ん？ どうかしたか？」
神社に背を向けていたせいで状況が飲み込めていない萃香をよそに。
「「1、2……退散！」」
二人は次に起こるであろうことを予想し、一目散に別々の方向へと駆け出した。
「あ？ おい、どこ行くんだよ。おい！」
しかし次の瞬間、萃香の頭に手が置かれる。
「すううううういいいかあああああ……」
そこで萃香もようやく状況を理解したが、もう遅い。
背後に立つ霊夢は禍々しい殺気を放ちながら、鬼の形相で彼女に顔を近づけていた。
〜エンドロール〜
一方、博麗神社に突き刺さったかに思われたボールはまだ勢いを減殺しきれずそのまま貫通。最終的に、紅魔館の門柱に背を預けて眠る門番、紅美鈴の頭をかすめて後ろのレンガ造りの門柱にめり込んでやっと停止していた。
萃香は霊夢に、神社を破壊した罰として彼女の厳しい監修の下、神社の修繕をさせられている。
また一方で、月の天才剣士、綿月依姫は「地球から突然ボールがすごい勢いで飛んできてまた戻っていった」という旨の話を姉、豊姫に訴えては不思議がられていた。
〜ラブ的〜
どこかにしばし出かけていたらしい霊夢が帰ってくると、博麗神社はすでに元の姿を取り戻していた。
「あら、あいつもう修繕を終わらせたみたいね……」
神社の入口までくると、声をかけながら戸を開ける。
「ただいまー」
するとそこには、畳の上に座布団を枕にして横たわる萃香の姿があった。さしもの鬼の四天王に数えられる彼女といえど、この短時間での神社一つの修繕という重労働は堪えたのだろう。
霊夢はそんな彼女の姿に一つため息をつくと、買ってきたビールとつまみのみたらし団子をちゃぶ台に置き、萃香の体に布団をかけてやるとその場を後にするのだった。
描写も全て盛り込んだ結果恐ろしい長さになってしまいましたが、ここまで読んでくださった皆様、ありがとうございましたm(_ _)m
