I was never a fan of Panerai. Hated them. Went into a boutique and tried this on. Wow. Screams quality. One of the best and most overlooked ‘integrated’ sports watches. The bracelet oozes class. Love love love it.
The Panerai Quranta is the one to get, slightly bigger at 40mm but still thin and with a improved 100m water resistance.
That's a very good option too.
Thank you for making high quality videos!Love amzwatch ’s watches
Love it ! Always honest and perfect reviews !
Thanks Ren! Appreciate your feedback!
100m and a open case back would make this a perfect watch.
Keeping in mind that this is a dress/every day Panerai, rather than a dive watch. Love this one.
Sure. That's how I look at them as well.
Love it. I saw one just a few days ago on my local watch shop and it was a great surprise how much I liked it.
Yes, it is a very nice watch.
My problem with this watch is the water resistance, I don’t need 300m but it would be nice to have 100M so I don’t need to have any concerns.
Yes 100m would be much better.
It should have been 100m. That would be perfectly acceptable. 50m is ok, but 100m would not give anyone anything to complain about. Beautiful watch.
Hello from Toronto! As usual, thank you for your straightforward review.
I've always hesitated to consider a Panerai watch because of its 44mm case size-it just feels too chunky for me. The square case design makes it appear enormous on an average-sized wrist. However, the new 38mm case is a game-changer for many watch enthusiasts since it looks much more proportional. But don’t let those 38 millimeters fool you; a round-shaped 38mm watch might wear small, but that's not the case with a square-shaped watch.
I used to own a Tag Heuer Monaco, which was also square case and also 38mm (39mm in newer models), and it wore much larger than you’d expect. The square-shaped case was the reason for that. While the 38mm Panerai isn't as chunky as the 44mm models, it’s still not a small watch and will have a solid presence on your wrist.
Thank you! Appreciate your feedback. As for this Panerai in 38 it wears really great and doesn't feel large or chunky. But I recently did a Monaco review and I agree that it is a chunky and large beast.
@@OneManReviews By the way, Monaco is one of my all-time favorite watches. I still kick myself for selling my Monaco CW2111-the classic black tricompax with plexiglass. Now, the blue dial Tag Monaco is at the top of my wish list.
Though I'm too old to believe in Santa Claus, Svyatiy Mykolay, Ded Moroz, or even Joulupukki... but I'm still going to write a letter to all of them. I'll tell them what a good boy I've been this year and how badly I want that blue Tag Heuer Monaco for Christmas/New Year or any other holiday (including all the long weekends) You never know, right?
In my opinion, a Panerai watch should look big on a wrist. It shouldn't be 44mm, it might be 42 or 40, however it should look big, when one is wearing it. And that crown guard. Is its purpose to provide some proper water resistant? With WR 50m it seems as a useless gimmick.
I do agree on the 50m wr. It's weird not to make it at least 100m. But I love the small and thin case of this Luminor.
Absolutely stunningly beautiful watch! That could EASILY be my one and done... if only it had at least 100m water proofness and a bit of clasp micro-adjust 😞
Almost perfect, but In don't see myself in a yacht and saying "let me take off my watch to jump to the water" that killed the deal for me.
I wouldn't have a problem to take it for a regular swim. I think that the 50m with the crown protection should be enough. But yes, 100m would be better.
It looks great on your wrist 🫶What s the lug to lug distance for 38mm ?
I'd prefer a 38mm PRX, if only Tissot would release one.........
I would love to see the 38mm PRX.
Great review. Great watch. It was a smart move to reach a larger market by offering smaller options. I love my 44mm Luminor but on a smaller wrist that 38mm model still has that "My watch thinks your watch is a pussy" attitude.
Lol. Thanks. To me, the 38mm model seems like a more refined dress option while still carrying the Panerai DNA.
I agree. @@OneManReviews
I switch between a Cartier Tank and a 44 Titanium Luminor. The design works better at a bigger size i believe
Which Tank do you have?
@@OneManReviews 25mm Solarbeat. Tried the XL, felt too large for a Tank. On the other hand, the 40mm Luminor felt too small for a Panerai.
The point is that different designs, in my opinion, work best at certain sizes. I have a 17cm wrist as well.
I love Panerai, and I have chicken wrists, so a Panerai will never be for me .
Panerai are big watches and that's it .
This is not the same regardless if it fits me.
Looks too small on you - size and fit is is OK if it were a dress watch, but not for a 'rugged' Panerai. And considering the brand's illustrious History 100m WR should be the minimum across their whole range. Just my humble opinion.
This model of Panerai reminds me of a budget 'sports car,' like the Fiero. It was a cheap car with no power driven by college kids who couldn't afford a real sports car. Is your wrist too small for a Panerai? Then don't buy one. Because a 38 mm watch that will drown washing dishes is not a Panerai.
It's not the cheapest Panerai.
Almost all Panerais looks the same. Same design with a very to almost no difference. For the money they are asking for, we can get way better watch. The bracelet not tapered is a big NO. Thanks for the video buddy. Great work as always. Cheers 🥂
Thanks buddy! The bracelet could be tapered it's true. As for Panerai watches in general to me their Radiomir has a different look.
50m for a Panerai 👎
I bought this popular video watch from MaMaCoo , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
