Start with 15% of LA especially if you're a beginner... please do not start with a higher percentage (don't use too much); the truth about acid is the more you use, the less effective it becomes but a lot of people think going over the recommended percentage will make it work faster that’s simply not true.
💕💕💕Very good explanation! I saw you said you bought 90% Lactic acid. Thank you. That's the info I was looking for. You're very smart! So Because the pourcentage is 90%, you get this mathematically: 90÷6=15. Means you need 6 portions to have 15%. 5 portions of lotion plus 1 portion of the lactic acid. 90÷8=11.5%. 7 portions of lotion plus 1 portion of the acid.
@@vasco4002 Eh my dear, that's correct if you want to have 11.4%. In fact you do the reverse. (80:11=7.24) Means you need 7(6+1) portions des to get a 11% lactic lotion. Or 80:15=5.33, means you need 5(4 lotion+1 lactic acid) portions to have a 15% lactic lotion. Happy to help❤️

Why can't you you use a lotion that contains carbomer in it? I did my little research a while ago, and it states that it is safe to use with lactic acid in moderation. I used it in Johnsobs baby lotion for myself. It has been 3 months now, and I had no side effects. I even went a step further to add hyaluronic acid to it, and it works perfectly. My point is, if you tell people not to use a particular ingredient, you should explain why.
If you use a lotion with a carbomer in it, yes it'll still work HOWEVER it'll be an extremely runny consistency. It's just messy trying to use it this way.

A lactic exfoliating lotion typically has a lower pH (around 4) compared to the skin's natural pH (around 5.5) to enhance its exfoliating efficacy. The slightly acidic pH of the lotion helps to effectively dissolve and slough off dead skin cells, promoting smoother and brighter skin.
