I live in butler county and me and my best friend are looking for a good place nearby he’s been bugging me all week to go fishing we both got fish fever we went to small creek yesterday and i got this tiny rock bass he didn’t get anything sadly but today we gonna go here to fish so I wanted to see how the fishing was here
Oh nice, haven't caught a rock bass in forever, but yeah, Moraine is good now, been using a plain old night crawler on a hook, little if any weight. Maybe a 1/16th or 1/8th ounce jig, if any weight. good luck!
Just went out Sunday. Was a dud all day until a threw out a plopper and then all hell broke loose. I must of had a pike/musky on the line. Couldn't get it back to my swift packboat. Busted my line and ate my $12 bait :( Most of my bait color is for Minnesota. What seems to be the go-to colors on Arthur?
Oh nice! heartbreaking but exciting anyway. I've had some luck with perch striped surface baits and chartreuse plastics for good sized largemouth, but people are catching walleye right now trolling weed edges with worm harnesses. I'm mostly waiting for the fall, to jig over drop offs and porcupine cribs for the amazing hybrid bass fishing at Lake Arthur. That's when it gets REALLY good, day (deeper) and night (shallows), on drop offs. I'm uploading a video tonight or tomorrow about jigging drop offs.
I love musky fishing here it’s a Great Lake man
GOOD CATCH BRO. 👍
Thank you so much.
I live 15 mins from the lake and had zero clue about the cribs. Wow!
Thanks for watching!
