    can't wait for this! it's something i always wanted to do with my old 325i but never got to it. considering doing it to my 328 now, but not sure if that whole work is worth it, for the extra 200cc.

    • @ManSeeksCivic
      @ManSeeksCivic  5 лет назад

      Honestly speaking its not really worth it, it's purely fun and a whole load of learning for me. If it works as I've read then I'll be a happy man.

    • @mistreku
      @mistreku 5 лет назад +1

      @@ManSeeksCivic I know it's quite a bump in power in the 325, especially since that engine is not very torquey, and I think you'll actually feel the difference in the 328 as well, considering you're also using those cams. Really looking forward to this, IMO - the stroker, cams, M50B25 intake manifold and remap should see you around 230 bhp, at least. Maybe 240 even, that would be sweet. No pressure, lol. Not trying to raise the bar, just guessing.

    • @tiitsaul9036
      @tiitsaul9036 5 лет назад +1

      I believe 200cc makes very small difference in peak power. Increase in displacement should bring torque curve to lower rpm, thus making it better for street use. Increase in stroke also increases the compression ratio which makes it really worthwhile.
      Cams make noticeable improvement through entire rev range.
      I’m interested to see how much more power can you gain after a proper tune. Mine runs pretty good without any major tune.

  • @vincentrdelinares6732

    Do you know you can use 330i intake cams and 325i non vanos exhaust cam as a cheap « m3us » cams ;) you just need to grind a little bit of the 330i cams and it fits right in here.

      @@huseyinerdem6934 I'm not sure, your b20 has a 66mm stroke but I don't know the difference to the deck height from tdc and lift of the s50 cam. Someone will have tried it so I'd spend some time looking around the net. The only way to tell properly would be to put it together with clay on the piston crown and test for valve clearance. Good luck.
