thats because he went gray or white early. i did the same in my 40s not coloring my hair any longer. that way at 60 they wont say "she has gotten old" but instead say "she looks just the same". i call it the Picard effect! :-) granted he did not have to deal with hair but dealing with going bold early basically has the same effect!

I started watching Steve on The Smother's Brothers Show in '68 or so. That show and Laugh In were 2 of the best of all time. I'm unclear on why he has a gnome with him though.
These 2 are legends. Three Amigos is a classic and Father of the Bride are classics. OMTB is a good show. Maybe Chevy Chase will appear in the next season.
