Thank you so much for making these videos. As a freshman, I haven’t really been given the chance to explore UCR and live at UCR, so it helps a lot to see what living at UCR is like. Can you also make a video exploring Bannockburn and the sub Station? As an alum, the dorm itself feels cramped, even with just one person. I will say it feels fantastic to see that fire pit, because it would be a nice place to unwind from the day, and I was a second year when UCR banned smoking on-campus, so to be able to sit at a fire pit without smelling tobacco would really be the experience.

Love this video! My son is an in-coming Freshman at Riverside. I’m trying to create a checklist. In a shared room, does each person being their own TV? Is there enough space to do that?
I know I'm a little late, but no. Typically, with the older dorms, be it Lothian, Pentland, and AI, your son won't have room for a TV. Dorm halls have a lounge TV, so unless your son plans on doing a streaming night with his friends or whoever else, he shouldn't have to take his own TV.

Communal, but they are cleaned everyday

So glad the university can wast all this money and not do any thing about the rampant crime, homelessness, dust bowl of a parking lot where UCR family housing was and the loud ac/air fillter over the toxic waste dump that you have to live near. Now UCR claiming poverty because they spent a fortune on this thing that wont actually see use tell mid next year at best.
