Thanks for the tips on these Russian DDs! Only played the T3 so far. Guns and speed are nice, but it feels a lot like work playing them. Really gotta keep your head on a swivel. GG!
This ship has been brutal for me. I don't know if my commanders aren't ranked up enough, if i just suck, or if I am just having a streak of really tough luck. BRUTAL!
Totally agree... these are good ships, but for a thinking/tactical player, who uses situation awareness and cover to get the best of them. Which will allude most duff players. Isaslav was a bit ordinary but I do like the Podiovsky, just got the Gnevny but haven't tried it, although have had the Gremyaschy since the campaign and really like that.
Love what you do, still absolutely hate these boats. IF you get the right map, and IF you have a good game, and some luck, you can do ok. That’s a lot of ifs. I would rather play any line than this one. Any. Even playing to their strengths it’s tough to put up a game like you just did. Playing these , to me, is like getting a root canal. If you are medicated enough, it’s tolerable. Fast, but big and clumsy, which mitigates the speed. Pretty good guns, but if you don’t have a spotter, it’s tough to safely use them. You will be outspotted by every other DD, which means they will probably get off a volley or two first.Maybe in a division, they would be better, and maybe if I rank up the skipper you are using, they would be better. I don’t think I am going to play this line enough to merit ranking him up. They should at least give us the Gremy’s torpedoes. It’s the only line that I feel it’s a chore to play, and I’m not sure if I’m even going to play the tier 7. I played every line in this game, and looked forward to playing through every ship, but I don’t think this line is worth the time or credits to play through. That rant over, the cruisers are amazing if you like cruiser play. The BB that’s available is a bit pricey for a tier 4, but I’m hoping that line is as good as the cruisers.
I have the Minsk, I feel like the AP quality goes way down from what I'm seeing here. Or the higher tier cruiser armor goes way up, or a combo of the two. I *hate* the Minsk. I've had some good games, 120, 130, but you have to work so hard compared to other DDs.
Tbull in addition you’re now bringing a DD into a game and already planning on not using it to spot or cap. There is already enough of those Dewey buffers. Why intro a line that forces it?
@@TbullGaming I'll believe that when I see it. :) In my experience the Minsk is a floating turd that is gigantic that can be out gunned and out torped by just about anything. It's great to not be able to turn while fighting another DD if you get near a cap. No sonar. At least you have twist and track, but it's too little too late for that barge. I've tried to play the flank/distract mode with it. It's really fun launching 5 shells every 5 seconds to get 323 damage on a battleships super structure. So I can't go into a cap in the beginning of a game, because I'll be out spotted by miles. Yippy for sitting outside a cap and spotting the cruisers behind it while the enemy gets it. I have great respect for you and your channel, but it would take a Christmas miracle for me to buy in to these DDs as worth something. We'll see about the T7, but at this point it looks like a crappier fletcher.

The moment when you went point blank with the Mutsuki I’d have to change my pants after that haha

Gurin also has speed perk with dispersion perks it will be great. My speed on pod is 47 knots due to gurin.

Great review Man!!!
Thanks. Been waiting for you to review this ship. I actually like it better than the Gremy.
Alot of fun the ship , probably the most fun dd ive played.
I seem to get lots citadels with that dam boat !!not sure why lol but 10 in one match i love little mosquito lol
Night rider yea I was using it and got into a fight with a cruiser and killed him cause I got like 7 citadels
Brutal ship if played right. Having lots of fun with these Russian destroyers.
I play PS4 and I can say that Pod is great. It can do 43.3 knots

Yeah I'm kind of thinking the role these play might be tough at higher tiers

@@eituyn you can do plenty of spotting and capping, but you just can't get in a close quarters dust-up with the bulk of their forces

Anton gurin? Is not goodfor minsk and liv 7 russian Destroyer???
Haven't played either ship, but both of the Russian destroyer commanders can work. I just think Trubs is the better choice personally
having a hard time playing these destroyers, not saying their bad, but damn.
Ginsengpills You can go ahead and say it... they are bad!
Seal club much? lol
no khabarosk. no reason to play them. all trash.
