Just an FYI, there are very subtle differences between the 9005 and the 9006 bulbs. The bases of 9005 and 9006 appear nearly identical, but their smallest tabs are reversed - it turns clockwise on the 9006, and counterclockwise on the 9005. Also the wattage of the 9005 is higher due to being a high beam application, vs the 9006 low/fog beam application. Also the gloves are to keep the oils from your hands from getting on the glass of the halogen bulbs/LED's due to the high heat that you already experienced, the oil heats up and things go pop, lol. The halogen OEM bulbs run around 500 degrees F, that's also why the housings are sometimes melted or deformed. Thought I'd throw out some tech behind your video, thanks for the review brother.🦾
Thanks for the info! I did know the lights were actually different, but I definitely didn't know it all broken down like that. I basically just knew one was high beams and the other for low (but I'll be honest, when I first opened them, I was concerned maybe I got the same model because they look so similar). Very possible, but I think since it looked fine all the other times it's probably more like a dirty wall lol.
