Well, my heart skipped a beat when you said bad news. LOL. Although we have enough confidence in our products, I have to say uncontrollable things happening during transportation. Love that way you tested them. The contrast is very clear.👏👏

Just an FYI, there are very subtle differences between the 9005 and the 9006 bulbs. The bases of 9005 and 9006 appear nearly identical, but their smallest tabs are reversed - it turns clockwise on the 9006, and counterclockwise on the 9005. Also the wattage of the 9005 is higher due to being a high beam application, vs the 9006 low/fog beam application. Also the gloves are to keep the oils from your hands from getting on the glass of the halogen bulbs/LED's due to the high heat that you already experienced, the oil heats up and things go pop, lol. The halogen OEM bulbs run around 500 degrees F, that's also why the housings are sometimes melted or deformed. Thought I'd throw out some tech behind your video, thanks for the review brother.🦾

Thanks for the info! I did know the lights were actually different, but I definitely didn't know it all broken down like that. I basically just knew one was high beams and the other for low (but I'll be honest, when I first opened them, I was concerned maybe I got the same model because they look so similar).
Thanks again for the more thorough explanation! Clarity and accurate information is always welcome on this channel.

@@DaBadNewz I am an Auto/Diesel Diagnostician with my own shop up in Sacramento. Been my profession for 36 years, it's my job to know these things, but it's cool being able to pass the knowledge on via your channel. Keep it up, you're doing great!

Oh shit that's a pretty decent career! (got my whole life beat by a year or so lol). Definitely appreciate passing down the knowledge man! I'm just a DIY'er with an electronics background, so it's really useful to have folks like you chiming in with the professional insight.
Thanks again man! Probably got some maintenance videos coming up so look out for those...I may need some supervision!

@@DaBadNewz As long as DaBadNewz is kept to a minimum, I'll do my best to offer any supportive knowledge. I have several degrees in a few different backgrounds, not to mention I have been involved with car audio installations since 1988. My current system tends to raise some eyebrows when I give a demo.

One headlight lens might be dirtier than the other. Clean both housings and those should bring! Skirt!

Very possible, but I think since it looked fine all the other times it's probably more like a dirty wall lol.
      Thanks for the suggestion!
