I also enjoyed the ant man trailer more than Fantastic Four. I really hope that someday Fox & Sony will give back Spider-man, X-Men, and Fantastic Four back to Disney. However, X-Men Days of Future Past was amazing. So, at least Fox knows what they're doing with the X-Men, but in an ideal world they would make Apocalypse their X-Men final movie, but that's not going to happen. Well even still Disney is happy. They make a small portion of the profit from those movies.
1966Zodiac I personally want to give Sony one more chance with Amazing Spiderman 3, as I love the first Amazing Spiderman and am in the middle on the second. X-Men I feel should stay with fox because I really can't see mutants showing up all of a sudden in the current MCU but Fantastic 4 I want to see go back right. Fantastic 4 needs it.
"His costume sucks/where is his red suit?/I don't like his costume." Guys, first off, this is an origin story. Second, Daredevil is starting off with the black costume that he wore first as an homage to Frank Miller's run on the hero. Third, Daredevil *will switch to the red suit we all know and love*. Quit your whining. You'll see him in the red suit soon enough.
Timothy Samson I bet he's one of these people who uses "lol" and a bunch of overused internet jokes. He probably quotes Pulp Fiction on a regular basis, posting memes on his Instagram account.
Oh man, seeing all these comments from 7 yrs ago... the fans won't believe it we told em this Daredevil will end up teaming up with Punisher, JJ, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, and will appear in an MCU Spider-Man movie alongside Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, it still feels like a dream.
@@Mythical.History let’s just hope born again will have the same dark and griddy feel like this one and let’s hope there won’t be to many jokes and let’s hope the story will be good
What a beautiful story. Daredevil inspires me to be a better version of myself, even now. Just finished rewatching season 3, and youtubing these old videos. This series came to my life in a very dark period. It gave me hope.
Arrow opened the way and it deserves praise for it; Flash is a light heart teen oriented superhero show. Agents of Shield stumbled at the first season and became a great show on the second on pair with Arrow and in terms of quality, a bit superior to Flash. Gothan came into the mix, not quite on the league of the previous mentioned shows, but like Shield, I think a second season will improve it. Constantine has its fans and despite the low rating, in terms of quality, it's not very different from Gothan. Agent Carter is just impeccable in terms of quality, the best of the bunch so far. It's indeed the series which gave the first big steps toward a mature comic book show. However, it's time for all those series to move aside, because Daredevil, from just the trailer, shows what a mature comic book show can look alike. It came last, but it came on top. Amazing!
Everything doesnt need to be dark and gritty. daredevil needs that doe. anyways you should check out avengers that is a Movie that isnt dark and gritty and Works in that sense
I'm hoping that the Netflix series will be much better than the ABC shows (Not that the ABC shows are bad, but they aren't that cinematic to me). Then I'm hoping that the Netflix characters will also crossover into the movies. They could use some heroes in Civil War and Infinity War. Maybe just for cameo's in 1 large battle where you can see them all kicking ass.
I'm honestly asking if you have continued to watch Agents of SHIELD? I know so many people that gave up on it after the first handful of episodes, but it honestly got so much incredibly better to the point that I really look forward to new episodes each week, and Agent Carter has been great in my opinion too.
"I'm hoping that the Netflix series will be much better than the ABC shows" Man how did I know I would see this bland repetitive ass type of comment seriously STFU.
It’s funny to come back to this after so many years and look at everyone in the comments beg for Jessica Jones, Punisher, and Moon Knight shows. Marvel did not disappoint
Spoiler alert! Don't read if you haven't watched the show! This is hands down my favorite superhero show. I like that Disney didn't censor anything and made this show mostly for adults. My only complaints is I wish the show was longer, you know, like back in the old days seasons used to have 20+ episodes, now you will be lucky to get a little more than 10. I wish that they showed more of his "daredevil" outfit instead of like the last 16 minutes of the last episode in season one. I know that they were basically showing his origins and showing how he got the suit rather than just having him start out in the suit. I hate that I have to wait a whole other year for this awesome show. The way that it ended was pretty much the beginning to him being daredevil. I have no idea what to do with my time until this comes back on lol.
Patrick Laceholder What other shows are good to watch? I'm watching: Game of Thrones, Arrow, and waiting for "The leftovers" to air. But I have to wait a week for 1 episode. I like how Netflix puts all the episodes for a season on there so I can binge watch it.
MickyMicky Mike Breaking Bad, Prison Break, The Wire, 24, Dexter. All of those series bar The Wire are on Netflix, although 24: Live Another Day and Redemption ( I think) are missing.
Patrick Laceholder I saw Breaking Bad and it was the best show I ever saw on TV. I have, The Wire on my list of shows to watch and I heard Dexter wasn't good after season 2.
Gritty. Wet pavement. Blood mingled puddles. A blind man with phenomenal abilities. This feels like a solid crack to the skull, and I can taste the blood in my mouth. Bring. It. On.
Let's just hope Netflix will give us a Daredevil we love. And give us a cameo or two of some epic characters still not officially in the MCU. *wink wink Punisher
It's a miracle how a mash-up of a few episodes worth of action scenes is more tangible and generally clearer than one action scene from the 2003 Daredevil movie.
I'm glad the trailer kept a lot under wraps, pretty great knowing Murdock will start off without his iconic outfit and slowly transition in to the man without fear. I like the way the show is going and hopefully it will follow the Arrow formula with strong character development and story arcs.
Apparently this got a TV-MA rating, which is awesome because it means it won't cut down the harsh violence and blood like most shows or movies would. This is how you do a gritty superhero revamp, *cough* Fox, DC *cough*. I'm really excited for these Netflix series, and hopefully we'll get Moon Knight after The Defenders. I don't know if many people will share my opinion. Daredevil is the Marvel's masterpiece. It is a loss for all to cancel the show. Charlie Cox has done perfect job as Daredevil. He is one and only Daredevil which no one can replace that role. He has the devil inside him. I cannot say this better. Please, bring the show back.
Looks like it's all in Disney's hands. If they didn't start the planning of Disney+ probably Netflix would had renewed the show for the 5th season already since it was so popular and beloved. But in theory Disney in the future can still re pitch it and continue for a 4th season.
Speaking as a studio who are working towards creating high quality online content though, this is very exciting to see. A brand like Marvel going completely subscription / online based is just awesome, hope more companies do this. It's the way of the future!

Man marvel, your stepping up your game........ A LOT!!!!!!!!!!
Am I the only one here who actually likes the black costume in this trailer better than the red costume that Daredevil usually wears? 1. It completely covers the upper half of his face, which I think is a really cool way to reference his blindness as well as a great way to conceal his identity. 2. Black is a much more practical color for a vigilante who primarily works at night than red is.
I like how they don't go about it like the typical superhero trailer - by showing the chemicals that blinded Matt, him being scared and adjusting, being introduced to Stick, etc. It's just him and what he fights for. Can't wait!
I'm definitely going to see this. Daredevil looks like a very interesting character. It's nice to see him have his own show. Albeit on Netflix, but a show nonetheless.
I don't know why I hadn't realised this before watching the series, but the lack of music makes this trailer absolutely incredible! Its sound effects and voice acting direction make it almost horrifying, at certain moments...
This reminds me of DC's "Arrow." I am glad that Marvel has started to go with the television shows. It will be fun to see Daredevil again. Hopefully, this will inspire DC and Marvel to step up their storytelling and prolong the shows. This looks really promising! I cannot wait and I am loving it! :)
This...looks AWESOME! I really can't wait for it, it looks really interesting and different from the usual Marvel Cinematic Universe form, I was really hyped for this before, but now I am even more interested.
Now this is the dark and gritty that you won't see in the damn childish MCU films. Winter soldier was fine in terms of grittiness but I don't feel like any hardcore pain is delivered in the movies recently. This is the kind of realism I hope to see, I mean what the hell we need some blood shed now and then to show that what superheros go through is tough and back breaking work. Disney forcing Marvel to be so KID-FREINDLY, it's just insane even with the PG-13 ratings. That's why I feel like the X-Men Universe, and even DC are at an advantage because they don't really have restrictions. Make's me REALLY anticipate the Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist mini series though.
Iliass Bouzahzah What makes you think DC and Fox don't have restrictions? They're different companies, but they like money just like everyone else. The reason Daredevil is allowed to be this dark is because of the digital format, which does not require an enormous swell of support in viewers to be considered a success. Network TV is much more conservative to please their advertisers, and feature films are aiming toward huge box office numbers. Neither of those apply to Netflix. It has little to do with Disney- it's just basic business.
misternightstar I wasn't talking about the business aspect though, I was just saying that Daredevil should set the example for the film universe. Marvel movies have been gravitating towards younger audiences and deviating from going all-out like the comics did. Disney definitely has an influence over Marvel and their content, and I think that's pretty obvious. The PG-13 rating back then for Marvel films vs. the PG-13 rating now both mean completely different things. Avengers nearly received an 'R' for the scene where Loki impales Coulson. Goes to show the industry has definitely changed. DC and Fox aren't branches of a Parent Company; Warner Brothers, 20th Century, and Lionsgate are only distributors for DC and Fox.
You...do realize what the source material for all of this is, right? Comicbooks, extremely silly and campy and fun adventures with ridiculous superpowers and humour. They introduced serious storylines but with ridiculous setups like a giant purple space man having to collect a bunch of gems to make a fancy glove so he can bring death to the entire universe. It wasn't until much much later that people decided to make darker comic books, and even then why does every hero have to be Dark Knight all over again?
+Vienna Zephyr It's not about being dark, it's about being a little realistic; just because Christopher Nolan took Batman seriously and grounded him in reality for ONE trilogy out of the hundreds of other Superhero movies doesn't mean that that form of story telling is obsolete. The jump from 2008's Iron Man which encouraged some realism, to Thor which went STRAIGHT to Fantastical elements like the nine realms, to a CHITAURI INVASION in Avengers, kinda seems a bit convoluted and all over the place to me, They need to balance out the mythos both on the film and television front; just take it a bit slow like the comics did. And a character like Daredevil is the perfect place to start. In MY opinion Marvel should STILL be in Phase 1, instead of rolling out these installments like crazy, but it's working nonetheless.
I like that the Netflix shows are about street level heroes. I've noticed that none of the movie heroes do everyday hero work. Like they fight aliens and terrorist, but they don't really save people from normal stuff.
Marvels HQ, in NY was on 50th st. smack dab in the middle of Hell's kitchen(34th to 59th streets), hence it's importance in the Marvell universe. To understand the daredevil story lines of the 60's and 70's it's probably best to understand that this was a period of incredible change in that neighborhood. Once a residential neighborhood for immigrants (predominantly Irish), hell's kitchen when these storylines was written was in fact being bought up by Corporations and the transformation was ugly. During this period an irish Gang calling themselves, The Westies, was waging a gang war that, even by NYC standards was incredibly brutal. the Bars and restaurants frequented by Marvel writers were regularly the sights of Gang Hits. In my opinion to understand Marvel Canon, it is necessary to have an understanding of the many neighborhoods that make up the Island of Manhattan in the time period the stories were written. Along the same line, those who know Greenwich village well, The Artsy, Liberal, outside the lines mentality of it's residents, makes perfect sense as to why they placed, Dr. Stranges, Brownstone, there. Peter Parker in Forest Hills, New York in a section of, Big City small town, feel. To understand Marvel it is essential to have an understanding of NYC.
It is Feb 4, 2018. 3 years ago this very day I watched this incredible teaser and I knew Marvel had something special on their hands. From a lifelong DD fan you did not disappoint! Can’t wait for season 3 later this year!
give the Punisher and Daredevil another opportunity! Even small roles in the Civil War arc, Matt Murdoch is a lawyer after all, he know best about the constitution!
The Incredible Hulk is the most underrated Marvel Movie in the cinematic universe. They teased us with the Leader. I hope they'll show it someday. Also, they teased us with the REAL mandarin in a Marvel One shot they need to resolve that.
This series was shot before Marvel Studios got access to Spiderman so I doubt there will be any Spiderman references this season. Jessica Jones just started shooting so maybe we will have some Spiderman references there. She did have a crush on Peter Parker in her books.
Daredevil is consistently (with Batman as a distant 2nd) the best written mainstream character in the big two comic companies. This is the ONLY show/film i have zero doubt about.
Personally Agent Carter and Gotham are at the top of the list. For being their first season they have incredible production and plot (I started to give up on Agent Carter but then they managed to hook me up again) The Flash is much lighter than the rest of the tv shows no doubt about it and Arrow? It's going down the road with the plot... no matter how good their stunts are. So yes I'm looking forward to Daredevil, to see its rights and its wrongs. It can't be worst than the movie anyway...
I heard this is gonna be TV-MA which is interesting because all those anti marvel trolls always said the mcu (which these netflix series will exist in as far as I know) would never do a punisher or should have the rights to deadpool back because they wouldnt do any material that would be dark and violent because disney would never aprover yet here we are with a serious gritty TV-MA daredevil and yet fox is still trying to push the idea of deadpool being PG-13. So in short Marvel studios needs all the marvel characters back because that is the only way those characyers would have justice done to their source materials cause marvel studios knows that the best way to make a comicbook movie/shows is to stick as close to the source material but if change is needed do it right and make it feel like if you were reading multiple monthly comic series with tie ins etc
They said that reasonably since this is a Disney production (Marvel Studios, comics and even this show being owned by Disney.) Now that we know this is not the case, it's showing that Disney is willing to take risk to perverse the integrity of an IP if they're using premium services and outlets like Netflix.
Nazrat84 true, well i guess it doesn't matter who said who since the winner's here are us the fans and the studios since they earn more and more of our trust in their track record
They'll probably have to introduce Hydra and the Hand in the later seasons before we get to Elektra but it's possible since Stick is here so we'll most likely see Elektra.
Dukes Videos Yeah, you're right! I'm glad they're at leas taking their time with the origins instead of rushing the storylines like in the Daredevil 2003.
People didn't know what an legendary series they were about to watch back then

I'm definitely going to see this. Daredevil looks like a very interesting character. It's nice to see him have his own show. Albeit on Netflix, but a show nonetheless.
Daredevil in Spider-man 3!
🙀
Happy 5th Birthday Daredevil, the MCU television show 🎂😈.
I don't know why I hadn't realised this before watching the series, but the lack of music makes this trailer absolutely incredible!
Its sound effects and voice acting direction make it almost horrifying, at certain moments...
Can't wait to see him in the actual costume
This reminds me of DC's "Arrow." I am glad that Marvel has started to go with the television shows. It will be fun to see Daredevil again. Hopefully, this will inspire DC and Marvel to step up their storytelling and prolong the shows. This looks really promising! I cannot wait and I am loving it! :)
Finally a hero on Netflix that will fight more crime than kissing women
The hero that kisses more woman is the Green Arrow its annoying how he does that more than fighting crime
ashad ali well it is a CW show, so it has to appeal to teenage girls also
Chris Jones oh okay but not all the time they should show the drama and romance it gets boring.
ashad ali wow you described almost every cw show
Chris Jones Really
"i dun like the costume looks nutting like Dureduvil!!!11!"
^Someone who's never read a Daredevil book in their life.
"Call me daredevil... guardian devil of Hell's kitchen"
oh the soft chill from the wobbling sound
This...looks AWESOME! I really can't wait for it, it looks really interesting and different from the usual Marvel Cinematic Universe form, I was really hyped for this before, but now I am even more interested.
I OLLK AWWWSKIOMME

Ohhhhhhh kkkkkkkkkkkkay you 1v1
ooookyyyy u be drdrvl I be spudrmin

All I can say is "GODDAYUM!!!"
Надеюсь, что будет много экшона в каждой серии и поменьше филлерных сцен.
Хм.
Кюбайт ты когда будешь снимать лего звёздные войны 3
This is no teaser trailer. This is how proper trailers ought to be. Epic WIN!
that last shot -- that is what a comic book movie should look like.
Not even finished the show yet but it’s deffo the best piece of content I’ve ever seen fam💯🔥🔥
Keep watching!
@@AVENUENIGHTS 💯🔥
Wow...now that's a damn good trailer.
How... How does one do a movie about Thor without the nine realms and all that...?
I like that the Netflix shows are about street level heroes. I've noticed that none of the movie heroes do everyday hero work. Like they fight aliens and terrorist, but they don't really save people from normal stuff.
"I just try to make my city a better place" Love that!
I really need to get Netflix back
Marvels HQ, in NY was on 50th st. smack dab in the middle of Hell's kitchen(34th to 59th streets), hence it's importance in the Marvell universe.
Oh yes this looks amazing! I am so sold on this show.
Marvel's Daredevil will be out two days before my birthday so thank Marvel and Netflix. This is the best B-Day gift you have ever given to me
Now this is how a Daredevil adaptation should be. Also that last shot has convinced that this will be closer to The Man Without Fear miniseries.
Save Daredevil.
This Actually looks Really Good! Love the Dark tone!
Im a DC Fanboy but ill check this one out.
still hyped to rewatch this before the next she hulk episode
Sweet!! Looking forward to checking this out!
It is Feb 4, 2018. 3 years ago this very day I watched this incredible teaser and I knew Marvel had something special on their hands. From a lifelong DD fan you did not disappoint! Can’t wait for season 3 later this year!
Click like if you saw matt murdock in No Way Home.
Marvel is getting really dark! I like it
Way 2 go netflix and marvel! Keep this kind of material rolling out!!! :)
give the Punisher and Daredevil another opportunity! Even small roles in the Civil War arc, Matt Murdoch is a lawyer after all, he know best about the constitution!
Vincent D'Onofrio already looks like a menacing King Pin. I'm so excited.
Anyone seeing this after nwh
marvel do a new hulk movie we miss it
They are World War Hulk I believe its coming 2019
Marvel Spiderman but they already should there movie lineup until 2019 , there was no hulk movie
Marvel Spiderman No there isn't, that's what the fans want but there's nothing official, Kevin Feige has said they have no plans for him at the moment
The Incredible Hulk is the most underrated Marvel Movie in the cinematic universe. They teased us with the Leader. I hope they'll show it someday. Also, they teased us with the REAL mandarin in a Marvel One shot they need to resolve that.
Marvel Spiderman they confirmed there will be no planet hulk because it would have to be all cgi
no planet hulk = no world war hulk
If kingpin doesn't make some kind of deal with oscorp at the end of this series I'll be heavily disappointed! Welcome home Spider-Man!
This series was shot before Marvel Studios got access to Spiderman so I doubt there will be any Spiderman references this season. Jessica Jones just started shooting so maybe we will have some Spiderman references there. She did have a crush on Peter Parker in her books.
I find it funny that you said welcome home Spider-Man considering the name of the new movie
This looks amazing so far. Definitely going to check it out. Thanks Marvel Studios & Netflix for this partnership!
Daredevil is consistently (with Batman as a distant 2nd) the best written mainstream character in the big two comic companies. This is the ONLY show/film i have zero doubt about.
I think this is going to be amazing. I am looking forward to this more than the movies.
DD still the most popular marvel show
Who is here after Hawkeye episode 5
Vengo del futuro. La mejor serie que pudo existir. Daredevil, nos vemos en otra vida que sí te merezca ❤
wkwkwk same
This incarnation of the man with no fear looks petty good. I look forward to binge watching this when it arrives on Netflix.
Judging by the trailer alone, its WAY better than any of the shows coming out and the present superhero shows. I hope it rocks!
The only R Rated content you'll ever see on Marvel's RUclips channel. 😂
Hopefully until the moon knight trailer comes out
@@apexdeer9362 Doubt It'd be rated R
@@DRIDK-qb2rt that’s why I said hopefully
@@apexdeer9362 just finished moon knight it's awesome in storywise 🔥 best Disney show after Loki 🛐
@@mramit9853 yes it’s great but it sadly wasn’t rated r
Rosario Dawson is in this right? I'm excited for her and I hope there will be a good amount of Elektra at one point in the series.
Isn't she at 0.36?
probably not seeing as most of the season will revolve around the very origin of daredevil
They'll probably have to introduce Hydra and the Hand in the later seasons before we get to Elektra but it's possible since Stick is here so we'll most likely see Elektra.
Daydrian Lewis (DAYD111) not as a ninja just yet doe
Dukes Videos Yeah, you're right! I'm glad they're at leas taking their time with the origins instead of rushing the storylines like in the Daredevil 2003.
Welcome back Daredevil
I love the logo, it brings back the old classic feeling of Marvel
