    Its not much ninjas but consider SMC-K all you need is a diagnosis and a rated claim ( 0% IS a rated claim) no C&P no extra Va BS. With your valid I.D. Gather a copy of your diagnosis, your proof of rated disability and get to your nearest VA regional office ( some locations require an appointment). Best of luck to ya! 😊

      It’s not a %, you get a secondary service connection and it’s a SMK class k. I have gotten it and it’s about $110.00 a month ( don’t quote me on the dollar amount. Mine is connected by my PTSD, talk to a Lawyer or VSO

      It is a percent, I showed the VA rating, but it is considered as Special Monthly Compensation K (SMC-K), which I also explained. And as a SMC, the veteran receives monetary compensation, even when it is 0%.

      It is important to check the specific reason for the denial.

    I had to have my prostate surgically removed in 2014. The surgery was performed at a VA Medical Center. Since then, I have experienced constant ED and the length of my penis has shrunk very much. Do I have any avenues to file against the VA for this? They tried to treat me with Viagra, injections into the shaft of my penis, and other treatments but none of them worked. It is embarrassing to talk about but I was just curious if I had any avenues that I could take as a result of this? The doctor that did the prostatectomy said that I should have no ED issues because she stayed away from the nerve that causes the ED. I guess she got closer than she thought...

      You have a clear case, BUT be ready for the VA providers to deny any involvement at least a year.

      That sounds awful. Hope you get compensated soon.

      Never trust a VA doctor. I had one literally try to murder me on orders of the VA director that I reported to the VAOIG. I was warned by an acquaintance named Rudy who worked in the director's office that she was out to get me, be careful. Within a month, they tried to literally stop my heart and I've not been able to work since then. (2013)

      Still 0%, but you will receive Special Monthly Compensation. If there is disfigurement or loss of part of genitals, then other rating codes are applied and the rating would be higher than 0%

    It is IMPOSSIBLE to have a Disability that is 0%. Minimum should be 10% and the VA should have to Medically PROVE their 'assumptions' on Ratings.

    • @literalmed
      @literalmed  Год назад +2

      It is always 0% per the 38 CFR Book C (Schedule for Rating Disabilities), unless it is accompanied by any of these other conditions shown in the video.

      It's very possible and you still get paid for ED even though it's a 0% rating.

      It's definitely possible 😅😅

    • @dieselscience

      It's wholly possible. It means "You have a disability and we don't think it's bad enough to pay you."

      @@dieselscience In the case of ED, the veteran receives monetary compensation even when it is rated at 0%. It is called Special Monthly Compensation (SMC-K).
