Fantastic FREE Campervan Stopover and the TIRANË PYRAMID: Motorhome Adventure Europe

- We finally leave one free Motorhome parking are in Belsh and head to Albanias capital TIRANË. We wanted to visit the iconic architecture of the Pyramid after having watched Romesh Ranganathans Misadventure documentary,
which we loved. What a surprise we had as it was completely renovated and revamped. We had a lovely view of all the diverse and modern buildings around Tiranë. It really is an interesting city.
One of our last places in Albania was a wonderful free farm,winery,restaurant park up, Mrizi I Zanave . This place is so forward thinking and a great example of diversification from the farm owners. We couldn’t fault anything here. From the free hot modern showers and toilets to the cute bar, shaded parking area for campers only to the wonderful free and interesting tour of the whole site. This is true farm to table offerings here. We of course sampled the food and wine - really wonderful and extremely affordable for us full timers on a budget. Service couldn’t be faulted and we found it hard to leave. However another country awaits Walter!

Hello and Welcome...We are Martin and Eileen, a couple from the UK, meandering around Europe in our 21 year old motorhome called Walter.
In 2022 we took a long term sabbatical to start our full-time Motorhome living, setting off on our adventures travelling Europe and beyond ….
We are passionate about wild camping, which gives us freedom and the ability to sometimes see the true country. We love to share our knowledge and tips along the way and learn from others too.
We have already explored some of Scotland and the Islands, Western Europe and Morocco, experiencing so many different and amazing views and sunsets. Last year we travelled through Romania and Bulgaria and into Greece. We are currently discovering Albania after spending the winter in Turkey, before heading into the rest of Europe. Well that’s the current plan anyway! Our mantra is no definite plan .. absolutely free

Our stops we have done in all of the Balkans on P4N.. we are “Walter on tour” .. we stayed at some fabulous places. We like to be away from the crowds ..do you know how to see Walter on Tours stops on P4N ?
